One against us today, and the one that went for us nearly missed, without var wouldn't have been given,so a little bit of luck coming our way today🙂

I watched the Leeds v WHU last night. Leeds had a penalty, goalie saved it. VAR said he was 4 m/m off his line, penalty retook and Leeds scored. When the second penalty was taken there were 2 or 3 Leeds players inside the penalty box, a clear infringement of the rules so why wasnt that goal ruled out.??
VAR when it suits the officials ?

Yeah there's still too much inconsistency even with VAR and it's not just down to interpretation

Because if they disallowed that, there would never be a penalty that's allowed to stand.

The interpretation now is if the players in the box don't interfere with play, its OK. So for instance if the GK saves it and one of the players in the box scores the rebound, or a defender clears- they've interfered and it would be retaken... as it went in, none of them interfered with the outcome

He was more than 4mm off his line you could see it on the TV there was grass between his back foot and line. If you look at the 2nd penalty too the goalie jumped forward again.

To be fair its not a good example because Bamford would have probably scored if he had not been brought down so I`m glad Leeds scored.

Dont think this double jeopardy rule is right either goalie should have been sent off.
