Will we ever

Just blowing his nose isn't he?

Seriously he's exposed right now and doesn't know what to do about it. He has to change this up, even if it doesn't come off at least he's tried something different, what's he got to lose? Make changes to the system and players.

Hes acting like the system is infallible - we are getting picked off week after week and we have no answer for it. We aren’t even trying for an answer.

We barely create, we rarely score and we are physically incapable of keeping a clean sheet. He has to try something new otherwise at some point or he’s orchestrating the most embarrassing attempt to stay up this division has ever seen.

we are persisting with exactly the same approach and expecting it to suddenly work.

By McCabe standards, the Prince has been a breath of fresh air for us. Unfortunately, by premier league standards, he’s admitted he’s nowhere near adequate, plus he’s got £50m to pay back McCabe, which unfortunately comes out of our transfer budget, not his back pocket. Our average weekly wage is £30,000. Burnley is £55,000! CWAK problem is they moved far too fast for the club! Now they’re getting punished because they haven’t had the financial clout to move the club forward From 9th last season. They’ve to settle for 4th/5th best transfer targets on list etc. As if Watkins or Cash would have joined Villa if we could have competed with wages after last season? As if he’d have bought potential in Ramsdale and Brewster over tried and trusted Premier league quality? It’s where we are, and we’ve never been any different during my life time. Context blades, context.

I remember an old manager of mine who is a Citeh fan telling me about the time Brian Horton was manager there. He said he knew he wouldn’t last because he watched him on the touchline “kicking every ball”.

I was actually pleased when we signed Ramsdale.

Me too.. He was the one player I really wanted us to get.
Tbh I was excited about the Brewster signing, and that we were going for players with that sort of potential. To be so highly rated at Liverpool he surely will come good. He hasn't exactly had a chance put on a plate for him.

I put very little stock in how highly Liverpool rate their youngsters after Ben Woodburn.

After watching "EFL Goals on Quest" for a few weeks, I think we would come straight back up (if we go down), the standard this season is very poor.
