Wilder needs to go...

From innovative football up until last Xmas to Pulis-like sit back and hoof it. We need to find someone with a long throw to top it off.

Sickening result today.

They had more quality. No doubt.

We deserved something from that.

Sickening.

Sorry, but we deserved fuck all. We have no composure whatsoever. Players of the calibre of Bryan, Lowe and Burke should be no where near the first team.
We really need to change this system as it is clearly not feasible to play it with these players in the team.
Absolute dross.

We're going down. Anyone who doesnt think so is honestly deluded.

Robinson, but wilder says hes not done enough in training or to put it another way he's shit!!

We are now entering ‘all fans brainwashed by media’ stage.

At no point in the match did we look like scoring from open play. We didn’t create one clear cut chance.

we hoofed it up the pitch all day long. At one point my 3 year old soon stood and said ‘stop passing it to the blues’ .... I couldn’t have put it better myself.

shocking, relegation football... anyone who thinks we will stay up is deluded and it’s all about getting more than 11 points for me.

same again next week.

we didnt deserve owt today should have been 3 - 1 down at half time yes a cruel way to lose but im totally pissed off of watching this week in week out at least in the championship we will be able to compete and win games

Then WHY is Wilder signing these players who he then doesn’t rate? Freeman, Robinson x 2. He doesn’t deserve another penny of the Boards money. Very wasteful.

I want to be positive.

I'm struggling but I will still go into the next game thinking we can win.

We all know that when we are expected to lose, we come up with something - i'm confident we will come good and scrape through to safety this season.

Not with this team we won't, be lucky to finish half way up the championship.

At some point we will need to make a decision on CW. Stick or twist?

I was having a break in posting, but after today there may be no SUFC at this rate.

So I for one would rather go down with CW than stay up with Big Sam or anybody similar, because any temporary reprieve is just that temporary. There I have said it!!

Whether this season, the next, or the season after we do not have the financial backing to make go of it in this division, I am sorry but this is the fact of the matter, Some clubs are spending way beyond what we can afford & are at best mid table & at worst hovering above the drop zone, think WHU, Everton, Newcastle for starters. And 2 of them have been relegated over the past decade!

Brighton, us, Fulham, WBA, Palace, Burnley, Watford, Southampton, Norwich, Villa, etc, etc, are just making the numbers up. Its only Chinese money keeping Wolves where they are, & without further backing Leeds will struggle once Bielsa moves on.

Sky have no interest outside the Manchester, Liverpool & 3 London clubs, the others just happen to fill in the gaps whilst the big 7 are not playing. They have completely ruined football so that outside the top 7 teams only twice in 28 seasons have clubs won the PL, both backed massively by their rich owners, Blackburn with Jack Walker's money & Leicester only managed to do it because of the Billions of their Thai owner, without them they would be with the rest of us.

I probably knew this before last season, but over the past 18 months it has become obvious as we have been at the sharp edge. For anyone outside the top 7 it is just about staying there, & the ruination of most sport today, money! You have to spend massively to stay in it, & without huge debt or a very wealthy owner it is impossible long term, ultimately this fact will grind you down. In the near future every team will be owned by a Billionaire, bidding even more ridiculous amounts for players just to stay in division, & in the finality 3 teams with rich owners will go down! Spiralling transfer fees & greedy agents & players will drive clubs to spend & spend.

Our promotion season was one of the best I have experienced, particularly the Villa games & Ipswich at home. And the previous 3 seasons were great, so I don't want to re enter the managerial merry go round again.

Yes CW has made some awful decisions, his transfer decisions have not worked out, why no L Freeman when our midfield is playing dreadfully? But as some have found on here he is not, & never was god, there is only 1 God & as we can see he does not support us!! We are like a car that has had its Turbo removed, all the constituent parts are there, but it is slower, duller & less attractive. We have players who look like the shadow of last seasons team, but we all know we batted above our weight, & this season we are way below our weight.

After today I feel sorry for the players, but it sums it up, a silly mistake by an out of form player, who is probably at best Championship quality like most of the others, cost us dearly, it really was heart breaking. But in honesty we created virtually nothing, but the manager has to take some responsibility but the players kick the ball, or would if they got near it! But luck has totally departed from Sheffield United.

I have done with Sky Sports when my contract ends, & would happily see the top 7 clubs clear off to a super league with the rest of the prima donnas of Europe.

But CW has given us 4 great years. & I would settle for him leading us into the championship, but to be honest the whole PL experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, the taste of dog eat dog, scrabbling to get into & to stay in the PL [promised land], & its distasteful!

Today was. That’s all I’m saying.

Apart from the timing of the goal, I don't think today was unlucky. Leicester were better than us in pretty much every department, they won the midfield battle and created more.
Against West Brom we were beyond unlucky, today we got what we deserved.

To be fair though, Leicester are a very good side and will again be a top 6 team. Always a tough ask to compete.

And we have been worse and won in the PL in the past.

WE need a last minute winner to get us going somehow.

I don’t doubt Leicester are a better team than we are. But today, particularly 2nd half, we matched em up.

I got to agree with DronnieBlade we were a bit unlucky, I don't think we deserved that today. It would seem that every mistake we make costs us a goal at the moment yeah we rode our luck at times but when we need a bit it deserts us. Did Leicester really have a bag full of chances in that second half?
