I watched this on Netflix last week for the first time in donkeys years. Still one of my favourites. Is mcburnie the blind guy forging the documents or the claustrophobic one digging the tunnel? He seems equally ill appointed to do his job.
Obviously lundstram is Ives, so desperate to escape that he climbs the wire in full view of the guards.

Back to the post the choice of the Steve McQueen character wasn’t well thought out because he didn’t escape instead ended up wrapped up in barbed wire.

truth is.. we’re playing shit after ten games into the season. Players underperforming, tactics rigid. I remain confident Wilder can sort it, but am increasingly switching to the premise that little old Sheffield United should accept relegation and hope that our aging team and far from perfect recruiting will see us well in the second tier.

I am sure sunnier times are around the corner.
