Let's not just single out Nos, Simonson has gifted yet another goal he should easily have dealt with. How many points has he cost us now?

Think it's imperative we find a new keeper and centre half pronto

Talking about being professional though, that at the end was just criminal. Everyone one the Kop was screaming at Monty to go to him but no. He can't even do what he's meant to be good at any more.

Year monty, should have definitely took him out, no questions asked.

What did the keeper do wrong?

Spilled a shot that wasn't that difficult a save straight back out into the middle of the box! Looked very saveable to me from the replays, didn't even attempt to push it away from danger

I don't rate Simmo but I thought that was a decent stop from a well struck shot. Not seen any replays mind...

Watched them as I was ambling ou of the ground. First reaction was same as yours but on second viewing I personally felt he should've done a lot better with it.

That said, they should've stopped it well before he burst into the area

Quinn plumbed new depths of ineptitude today. If it wasn't so serious you'd buy a ticket for the pure comedy value.

well theres only one choice left then if it isnt David Dickinson and thats Linda Lusardi :D

How anyone blame Monty for the last goal I don't know. I suppose he is to blame for the credit crunch, the trouble between North and South Korea etc. He was superb today as was Ched, but I'm a clapper and I appreciate the work he puts into the game and I would like to find out what the other players think of him.

Monty did OK today...he was all over the pitch and actually got in some good attacking positions. However, he really should have 'took one for the team' and took their winger out at that stage in the game. Easy to say in hindsight, I guess Monty is just too honest a player.

Because he's supposed to break up play and shield the back four. He's the best in the business isn't he?

Superb? No wonder we're in relegation trouble. I despair.

Come off it. I suppose in hindsight we shouldn't have gone for the last minute winner.
The back four should have stayed disciplined and not gone up for the corner. But when Eeyore,Kyle(hold me back)Bartley and Lowton went roaming up the pitch for the corner,it was a potential suicide waiting to happen.
Monty had a good game today. When will you accept that you don't know anything about hoofball ;-)

He did do OK, Alien and I haven't said otherwise. I can't allow 'superb' though!

How can anyone blame Monty? Jesus fucking Christ, he let his man run straight through unchallenged from the inside his own half to inside the penalty area. The whole of the Kop was screaming for him to put in a tackle, fair or otherwise, but he bottled it and we lost. Quite staggering ineptitude, and to my mind indefensible.

Sorry mate but you can't possibly have been at the game today. Monty OK! Monty too honest. get a grip man, this was Monty at his awful worst and yet again showed why he should never ever be let anywhere near a Sheffield United shirt again. Please for the sake of my sanity purchase a video recording of this game and analyse his overall contribution, it was negative and he might as well have worn a white fu----- shirt. Bollocks to all this crap about his work rate he was once again total shite and the fact he is our captain speaks volumes about why we are where we are.

if Monty had taken the Hull player out as from the kop it looked like a 50-50 ball and Monty held back and let his man run straight passed him things may have been diferent.

for me we had a corner in the last seconds of a game we had been lucky to get back into after we had thrown it away in the 1st half i would have been tempted to play a short one and hang to it in the corner to take the point.

I'm another holding Simmo and Nos directly responsible for today's defeat.

I judge keepers on two things: aerial ability and shot stopping. Two questions I ask are (a) Does he come and catch crosses in his six yard box? and (b) How often does he make a save that I didn't expect him to make?

The number of times strikers head or tap in from less than six yards is scary over the years. It was my biggest gripe with everybody's favourite keeper, Paddy Kenny, who I never rated half as much as some. I will grant that he made a significant number of 'game changing' saves though, particularly in the PL season and in his early time with SUFC. Simonsen does not command his area well enough - I'd say he's on par with PK on that - and I can't recall a game changing save from Simmo all season. If he'd saved either of the first two, I'd have let him off the third. However, he didn't. There was no point Simonsen making the first save if he was going to push it straight into the optimum spot for the rebound. That wasn't a save, it was an inept block. At least we made Bullard earn the £45,000 a week he gets from Hull ...

As for Nyron ... good God, no. Send. Him. Back.

At home against a rubbish team? Give over.

we cant send him back as we have him until the end of the season. However, each time he has played at full back,he has looked OK,imo.(either left or right). Stick him out there, bring Battth or Ertl in at centre half(or a new c/h),play Lowton as the other full back to replace Calve
