I am sick and tired of people slagging off Ramsdale and asking for Henderson back.

Henderson being in goal tonight would probably not of stopped us losing.

Can we stop dwelling on Henderson and focus on Ramsdale?? Ramsdale made a few smart saves and kept it at 1-0. Yes he can be erratic and make silly decisions. But he is not the problem. He is making saves. The problem is scoring goals and the so called fans asking for Henderson back are idiots.

Our problem is scoring goals and if we scored goals, Ramsdale would not even be spoken about as an issue.

He may not be the finished article or as good as Henderson. BUT he is not the problem.

even so. We still would of drawn 0-0 at best. Still would of been a poor result in a must win game. But yet so many fans calling for Henderson to save our season. GK is not the issue

Avoid dropping the ball when he comes for it.

it’s more of an issue Gallagher was allowed the time and space to have a shot at goal.

We miss both, absolutely. Ramsdale is far from the only reason we're losing, but he's still nowhere near as good as Henderson. When we were rumoured to be buying Ramsdale, some fans tried to convince us he'd eventually be better than Henderson. I don't know if they were trying to kid themselves or everyone else.

Exactly, Henderson made a few errors in his two season with us.

The only reason these haven't been highlighted is because we were getting results

Just seen Curtis Woodhouse and David Brooks have a disagreement over Ramsdale on twitter either way it must be effecting his confidence I thought he’s been alright since returning maybe except Chelsea game but he’s human he’s certainly not to blame for current league position

No, but he is taller (longer reach), has better positioning, movement and is just generally quicker at getting down to shots.

The loss of Henderson has been a significant part of our decline this season.

Basham, Egan and the rest of the defensive unit played in front of Henderson very successfully week in, week out for two full seasons. When you suddenly take that away it's mentally damaging.

I think it's a pretty daft comment from Brooks.

A better goalkeeper wouldn't be stood somewhere with his line of sight to the ball obscured in the first place.

Ramsdale hasn't done much wrong since he came to us and has made more good saves than he has blunders.

My main gripe with him is that after he has claimed a cross, he frequently looks to distribute the ball out to start a quick counter (which is good) but despite having numerous options, normally then decides to let the opposition reset and ends up booting it instead (not so good). This is particularly annoying when you have the likes of Burke bombing forward into space.

But in any case, if a couple of our forwards could actually take the occasional chance then he wouldn't be under half as much scrutiny.

It's perfectly reasonable to expect a better goalkeeper to have saved the shot.

And Henderson is a much better goalkeeper than Ramsdale.
