I don't quite know what you think ramsdale should have done? He came to punch the ball away, perhaps he should try and catch instead but again, hes a player low on confidence, Basham sticks his head on it in front of him

In isolation, that was a decent enough first half, especially considering the absentees in defence. Last season, we'd be sitting here saying "unlucky to be losing" etc. But bottom of the table, 1 point from 9 games, it's just demoralising to watch us create chance after chance and not take them. Again.

I'm with you mate, its not the worst half I've seen from a Blades team by a long shot and we did genuinely make at least a couple of very good chances.

Its this frustrating situation where we aren't playing as well as we could be without being abject which is actually making it worse for me. If I thought we were a load of shit, with no talent or hope, then I'd not get so disappointed with every defeat.

Mcburnie and Bryan are doing ok. Bryan misjudged one but made a saving tackle, it happens. I'm not saying he's the answer but I'd be dragging Fleck and Norwood before those two.

Has Verrips got a run of games to prove his worth? He was impressive in Belgium, he deserves a chance, and that’s not 1 game but 4, 5 games in a row.

Ramsdale - Not completely at fault for the goal but just don't have confidence in him

Bryan - Vulnerability

Norwood - Mr invisible, WBA marking him out of the game

Berge - grew into the game well

Burke - As usual our biggest threat, how hey hasn't been playing more regularly is beyond me

Mcburnie - Linking really well with Burke, looking really into it.

We did at the start of the window - when CW knew JOC was struggling with injury and could break down (he did about two games into the season). Money was wasted on the kids from Derby instead.
