Confidence or not coming to catch it would have been a better move than a full length dive.
Absolutely it would, but when your doubting yourself you don't always pick the best option, he hesitated and cost himself the chance of getting there in time to catch. At least he realised, adjusted and got across, ahead of the forward, and would have made contact without Bash's headder

Not looking good, need to change it. Even after the goal we leave Gallagher free on edge of box from another corner

Our formation is done. If centre-halves and wing backs aren’t getting forward and overlapping there’s no point to it. Plus we used to have Duffy as between midfield and strikers - This is just a flat 3.

Usual first 10 minutes of good play followed by 35 of hoof, backwards passes and slow play.

kean Bryan summed us up. Acres of space on the left 40 yards out. stops and plays it backwards

The saddest thing is that if - and when - we'll be relegated this season, there's no easy way back to challenge for a promotion next season. The team & squad are just not good enough. Wilder was a hero at his time, but hae now squandered some £ 120m for sh*te.
This team is more than good enough for championship level, and with a couple of wins under their belt the confidence would return and hopefully so would the free flowing football

McBurnie, Burke and Baldock are having ok games. Sander started dire but finished well.

Several players have been utter dogshit. Nowrood in particular.

Still, we're only a goal behind and have created some chances. They need a roasting at half time though. Too many shit decisions and a dreadful shape at times. Why Gallagher is unmarked on the edge of the box is beyond everyone.

Not sure he would have got to it but luckily it didn’t matter.

Norwood off, mc B off, didzy and brew on, pace going forward needed on their back line. Ampadu left CB for Keane and let’s fookin go for it !

Time to smash some teacups and set the Moose loose. Enough is enough. Can’t defend, so might as well kitchen sink the attack for 45 minutes.

We're just getting worse.
Momentum against us & hard to turn.. so bad in front of goal it's awful. Hoofball terrible to watch.

Thoroughly fed up

Defence are all over the place.
Midfield is.... ??
Oli Norwood, he was great for us and vital for promotion and a lot of last season, but he's a liability now, even his set pieces are cak and have been for a while!
Attack, Burke looks decent, McBurnie in and out of the game.

Dean is a twat.

I'm getting a beer...

Everyone’s playing for themselves as individuals and they’re all having a go at one another. Nothing to me which indicates we are going to get back into this unless they bash their heads together

In isolation, that was a decent enough first half, especially considering the absentees in defence. Last season, we'd be sitting here saying "unlucky to be losing" etc. But bottom of the table, 1 point from 9 games, it's just demoralising to watch us create chance after chance and not take them. Again.

We are a Championship team losing to a Championship team. That's the problem. The window failed to kick us on as PL team. Not improving on Stevens and failing to replace JOC has cost us big style.

We don’t have the funds to replace JOC.

Thoughts:

Ramsdale - Not completely at fault for the goal but just don't have confidence in him

Bryan - Vulnerability

Norwood - Mr invisible, WBA marking him out of the game

Berge - grew into the game well

Burke - As usual our biggest threat, how hey hasn't been playing more regularly is beyond me

Mcburnie - Linking really well with Burke, looking really into it.

Shoccckkkkiiinnnggg!

BTEC stoke city. What the fuck was that shit. Do we not practice passing in training seems like we dont need the midfield as we just bypass them all the time by launching it over their heads, pulis wouod be embarrassed by that!

this is shocking football and we deserve to go down, WBA are worthy winners on this showing at the moment. They actually try and play the ball instead of launching it. Burke has had some moments of quality followed by sunday league. The others may as well have stayed home!

wilder needs to have some stern words with the team and himself at HT
