(343/541)
Ramsdale
Basham Egan Ampadu
Baldock Berge Fleck Stevens
Burke Mousset Brewster

We need pace in the team desperately. This transforms us into a genuine counter attacking threat. The shape is good enough for most mid table and bottom half teams that survive in this league.

4 3 1 2

Ramsdale

Baldock Egan Bash Osborn

Berge Norwood Fleck

Burke

Brewster Mouss

I doubt CW will go for anything like this though.

In the style of Countdown, it'll be McBurnie in the front line and any 10 others please.

I'd go 4-3-3 with the following

Ramsdale
Baldock, Basham, Egan, Stevens
Berge, Ampadu, Fleck
Brewster, Sharp, Burke.
only tweak from that I'd probably go 4-4-2 drop Brewster (who I see as a direct replacement for Sharp) and have another midfielder in possibly Norwood who I'd like to see thread balls to Burke or Osborne if we're looking for more vigour.

Ramsdale
Bash Egan Ampadu
Baldock. ——————-Stevens
Lundstram. Berge. Fleck
Mcburnie. Brewster.

Get Berge and Fleck playing closer together and hopefully they’ll find a rhythm and dictate the play better

I would start the same team (unless Stevens is fit then he'd slot in at WB). If we play like we did first half I suspect we're likely to have more joy against the WBA defence.

Monster match this one , two of the shitist teams in the Prem should be a thriller .

I can only imagine what it will be like on here if we lose this one !

definetly 4-3-3 and definetly drop mcburnie sorry but hes a championship striker would sooner we play billy at 35 and have burke and brewster either side saw a little glimmer of hope with brewster today but weve got to at least have a go

Ampadu is not the answer at LCB, midfield possibly

One thing is for absolute certain.

Is this not the most important match we have played in years ??

With the most, stating the blindingly obvious, at stake ???

Shuffling the chairs on the titanic at the moment really.

We need to play the same 8/9 for a run of games and hope they find some fitness and form. Not sure twatting about with it all the time is going to help.

I would play Burke or Mousset up front - heck even both. Im not sure either McGoldrick or McBurnie deserve to start at all currently. We dont look like scoring with those two up front. He needs to change it up there but other than Stevens for Lowe - it probably has to the same other 9 players. Let these get us out of the mess they have put us in. Bogle is the only player not had a chance but not sure Osborn, Robinson, Lundstram all are going to change things.

He is not going to change the formation so its only the strikers he can really change. Quite depressing.

Burke to be flexible with his position.

Won’t happen in a month of Sunday’s but that’s quite an exciting lineup. But no way we are giving up a body in the middle, I don’t think the players are good enough to manage it. Feel it’d end up being like the current setup but with a gaping hole in the middle of midfield.

We've got a gaping hole now with 3 where teams just run through us. Happened again a lot 2nd half. At this stage trying something different not sure what he has to lose. I'd rather lose ganes 4-2 than the timid 1-0s we keep losing by and have a go.

The shape would be 541 out of possession, a fairly effective ‘block’ that many prem teams utilise, In effect we’d have an extra body in midfield. The weakness would be the turnover where the wide pair have to transition back into the defensive shape. We have to find a way to score goals vs unsettled defences because we look like we’ll never score vs the set ones.

4-3-3

Burke/Moose/Brewster front 3

Berge/Fleck/Ampadu mid 3

Baldock/Egan/Basham/Stevens back 4
