Just had a look. His first 16 games were W4 D4 L8. You are right that it wasnt an easy start for him

There are some right dick heads on this thread. Surrender monkeys. The reason Blades are not firing on all cylinders
is the injuries to key men. Ramsdale is not Henderson, JOC is missing and Fleck.
I think too much emphasis has been put on Berge as Blades have no creativity without Norwood and frankly too many players have been off their game.
Stupid defensive mistakes and goalkeeping which didnt happen last season. No midfield press and too negative passing back and sideways and trying to walk the ball into net.

The next 10 games will define our season and the manager and team deserve all the time and respect not shaft them.
There are no new good managers out there. Only the same old faces. What is needed is a shed load of money to buy a couple
of creative types and replace Lundstram and give the forwards some service.
United in first 20 minutes against Chealsea were good, then falling asleep, a goalkeeping mare and players lost all confidence.

People calling for manager changes should hold their head in shame.

You are not. But Bassett never said we can't compete with the opposition. In fact he said his side were like a bunch of John Inmans after folding at Boro.

Wilder is hoping we are not dead and buried in the final 10 minutes in hope of snatching a result. What has happened to him?
 
The way football is right now and the way the Wilder has been throwing money about with the prince’s permission, if Wilder goes we’ll be in League 1 again within 5 years.
 
For me the question is, " Who motivates the motivator?".

CW has not been the same since emerging from the first lockdown. But in recent weeks his outlook has really deteriorated and his self-confidence at an all time low. He loves the club and the fans and has always thrived on the live feedback he got from the fans at matches. It helped him to keep his finger on the pulse and enjoy the adrenalin rush it gave him.

CW is a one off and has been key to everything that has brought success to the club since he came here. He is in desperate need of rejuvenating. What or who will motivate the motivator?

So if Wilder is to equal that poor start from Shankly we have to win 4 and draw 3 of of next seven games, I really can't see that happening but winning 2 and drawing 2 looks more realistic given our current very poor form.
 
Never really understood the argument that you must be pork if you’re criticising Wilder and the team after such a shocking run. For example I hope that Chansiri stays forever at the Tarpaulindrome and gives Monk and a 10 year contract, such is the wonderful job they are both doing in my eyes 😍

The “surrender monkeys” are those already claiming that they want Wilder in the Championship next season.

I remain fairly confident that he will keep us in the PL, if we don’t then someone will be held accountable. Player/Manager/Owner?
 
Can this post be closed now? It's totally embarrassing and is only giving Ormester self satisfaction on the amount of threads he's accumulating. HE IS NOT A BLADE. No true Blade would stoop so low and even consider questioning the guy who took us to the edge of Europe last season in such a short time. The time to re address this is when we ever find ourselves at the bottom of the Championship.

Nope what he and others are doing is pointing out you have been on here since February (when we were in the top 6) and not one single time have you said anything positive about the manager? Now don’t you think that’s a little fishy? Think that’s what is dividing fans, everyone supports “us” (the club) but not everyone supports a manager they’ve lost confidence in mainly because he looks a beaten man :(.
For me it’s all about the club, for some it’s all about the manager. Personally I don’t give a meh about the owners, manager etc it’s just the team, games and seeing a modicum of success like last season.
If he can turn it around great, if he doesn’t have the ability find someone who can. Have so much respect for him hope it doesn’t drag out to a painful end like with Trump.
