I would offload him and Norwood ( now that is controversial) in January and bring in a decent wide right midfield player.

Tad harsh picking out the one thing he did wrong in the game.I'm sorry but Lundstram is not good enough.
He was our worst player on the pitch by a country mile.
Anyone else nearly throw their kid at the TV when he lost the ball last 10mins near the subs benches?

Try praising what was an overall great performance by the entire team. Switched off a couple of times and could've been punished, but could've scored 3 or 4 with better finishing.
Let's not let the fact we were playing the World Champions get in the way of slagging Lundstram's mis placed pass though.
For what it's worth, when Lowe is fit. I'd play Osborn over Lundstram and Lowe at LWB.
That's not to bash Lundstram, it's just that a left footer is more suited to LCM. I thought Ampadu looked accomplished in DCM and a lot more mobile than Norwood. For that reason I would give him the shirt to lose.
Slagging Lundstram for 1 miss placed pass, despite playing on the wrong side of midfield is borderline pathetic.
I couldn't single out 1 player for fault tonight. Not oneHave a day off. I've praised our performance on various channels all night ta.
However, it must be balanced out and Lundstram was the only non performance tonight.
Osborne is not good enough for CM wing back yesI couldn't single out 1 player for fault tonight. Not one
As I said above. I'd play Osborn over him at LCM, but with Lowe injured we would've had to play Robinson.
Lundstram did well tonight under the circumstances.
Lundstram was in for the fitness tonight as we knew we wouldn't have much of the ball.
Who would you have played instead of him tonight? Don't say Norwood because he can't do that job.

Poor players usually get booked silly and often. .I’ve had a few beers so haven’t checked what’s been put previously but........ WTF was
he thinking diving in after two minutes of the match, halfway line, opponent with his back to goal and he makes no attempt to win the ball.. yellow card.. it seems like he can’t do anything wrong and is taking the piss and stretching it as far as he can until he signs a pre-contract
Tarkowski doing a lundstram
I haven’t heard of us turning down offers for Lundstram either. Tarkowski was subject to a lot of speculation in the last window, and previous ones with clubs being linked with him. He was never going to stay at Burnley.Really? Have you got a link for the article where Lundstram speaks out about the contract being nowhere near what he was going to sign?

For all my criticism of KM, I still think his ‘when the big dogs come calling...’ comments are broadly true. Team spirit is important at every level and holding players to contracts when they don’t want to be there can be detrimental to that.
I agree with that. So does Wilder for that matter (the “I’ll drive them myself if they want to go” comment back in summer 2016 set his view on that early on). I’m yet to see any evidence that Lundstram wants to go at this current moment in time, rather than say wanting to go next summer. We have a contract offered by us, turned down by him, and the manager suggesting he’s made it clear that he’s intending to see out the existing contract. It’s likely that’s in part seen a lack of offers in too – if the agent is clearly not going around trying to encourage a bid, bids probably aren’t likely to materialise.I haven’t heard of us turning down offers for Lundstram either. I’m not suggesting we’re holding Lundstram against his will. Wilder knows better than anyone how a player’s value drops when they’re in the last year of their contract and, as you say, I don’t think Lundstram has had the offers he was expecting.I agree with that. I doubt we will get anything for Lundstram as he will run his contract down
Agreed, he's looking at maxing out his earnings at the moment and sees this as his big chance to set himself up for life financially, can't say I blame him, just hope he doesn't upset the whole squad with this..
The members on here discussed money years ago, and how it affects groups of people / players who are doing the same job, but on different rates of pay, we saw this coming, and I do think it's unsettled the squad..
I don't blame him either. What an absolute chancer though.
He's been with us a few years. Last summer, genuinely, if he'd been shipped out to League 1 nobody would have been surprised.
We lost every game we played with him in the team in the Championship & Wilder publicly defender him. Wilder keeps the faith, puts him in in the PL, much to everyone's shock, he plays really well in about 5-10 games & now believes he's worth as much as (if not more than) everybody else in our squad.
Absolutely zero loyalty.
It's up to individuals whether they think that's acceptable or not. Some will say "look after number 1" & others will see him as a snake. Either way, it's a shame we're in such a desperate situation as I don't think it reflects well on us that he's still starting games despite all of this & Wilder's public comments.

I've never had so much loyalty to an employer that I wouldn't leave if a better opportunity arose at a competitor.Mee too... Nailed it, no loyalty to the bloke who gave him his chance..
