On Saturday 20th the table-topping Academy side play host to the soon-to-be-rendered-down-for-glue piglets from HMRC tax-dodging, skint, half-flooded unclean Wendy. Kick off is at 11 in the morning, giving you plenty of time to get to the pub for a skinful before the 5.20 kick off for the grown-ups against Palace.

If I'm not still poorly dying, I might drag myself out of bed and up to Shirecliffe.

Well worth a visit. And you can get a cracking butty to make you feel better!

Both age groups lost according to the twitter feed. I know winning isn't everything at that level, but glad I slept in now!

It wasn't the best performance from the U18's today, but in general I thought we were slightly the better side. In the first half Slew put a couple of good balls across the box. Their equaliser came from a penalty where our keeper hesitated then came out and just ran straight into their bloke, the rest of the team seemed unimpressed with him. the big plus point for me is Harriott in midfield who gets better every time I watch him, he hardly gives the ball away and is so confident on the ball, whether he is marked or in space.

Thought we bossed the first half. Was dissapointed with Slew today, didn't look particularly interested and we criminally wasted chances in the U18s! Wednesday weren't much cop, but took their chances.
