McGoldrick should be a bit part player this season. If he plays every week, we will go down. Its as simple as that tbh.
Interesting - could you maybe offer just a sprinkling more of your tactical workings which have led to the above lump of shi...conclusion?

Yes I could. But I can't be bothered to offer my tactical workings to someone who is clearly a smart arsed prick.

That included McGoldrick. Do you know he had the unenviable stat of having the most shots on goal without scoring. Says it all really.
No, I didn't, thanks for sharing it any other gems?

No point in playing McGoldrick .......................................................................... and then lumping high balls to him. Nice goal by him today and that is where he needs the ball at his feet.

Hardly a shock to know that Didzy isn't a target man.

So, no then?

You've read my previous reply. If you too thick to understand it then thats your problem.

OK then, for the very hard of understanding (and you are clearly one of those). McGoldrick playing in a front two partnership offers us fuck all threat. Theres a reason we have scored 1 goal in 4 PL games and 1 in 7 from our front two.

Understand sausage?

We have a scored 2 goals this season. 100% McGoldrick.

And he scored 2 all of last season (in the same game). 100% of all of those 2 goals were McGoldrick. Prolific I think we can all agree.

If he plays as a 10 (behind a front 2) then he's got a part to play for us. As part of a front 2, he's had his day.

Whilst they have different strengths, Burke and McGoldrick are too similar to play up front together. Both look to play others in too much and don’t have that level of selfishness to be the focal point up front at the top level. Either are fine supporting a proper striker but I’d love to see Burke and Brewster start a few games together to try and form a partnership. Hopefully Brewster’s striker’s instinct will be tailor made for Burke’s threaded through passes.

It has to be Brewster and Burke as the front pairing. Mousset if he ever gets fit and McBurnie also.

Sharp and McGoldrick should really be bit part players now. As much as I have loved them both in the past, neither should be regular starters. If either are, we will go down. Plain and simple.

Not really. I’m as disappointed as anyone at the start to the season, but I’m not really surprised. The only decent signing we’ve made is Burke, the defence has turned into a crock of shit for some reason and Berge still looks like he’s been eating too many of them. The only upside to COVID is that I won’t have to I won’t have to renew my season ticket.

Wow that is really spitting your dummy out, imagine if you were a manure fan tonight after losing 1-6 at home. What is unbelievable this early season is the amount of goals being scored and some of the results, what with these results and you not renewing your season ticket covid really has got a lot to answer for, go and have a beer, and imagine you're a pig fan, and cheer the fuck up

North East counties not fat of pub standard mate so your not gna get a pat on the back from me. I agree with the injuries side of brooks but he's very early in his career and needs time to grow/ fill out. Point I'm making is were dying for creativity and someone do something out of the ordinary weather than be brooks or someone else.

While I'm typing this he was bound to score 😂. Good finish but still need more

but harsh I get £65 a game in NCEL 😂 very decent standard

Offering new contracts to Sharp and Didzy was baffling. They’ve been great players for the club but the Prem is a step too far at this stage in their careers. Yes, great finish by Didzy today but like Sharp he has offered very little for a while.

The 2 goals and all round kill job against Chelsea back in the summer nonwithstanding.

The way the bloke was talking you'd think he'd played champions League 😂

haha I just love it! it looks a lot easier on the sidelines than on the pitch 😂

Play every day I can, 9a side Mondays, league Saturday and Tuesdays, Sunday league and training Thursdays! Only problem is a normal season I can’t get to the Lane!

He didn't score 2 goals last season...

3 all season then. 2 in the important games aka the PL. 2 in 38 games.

He's just what we need to score the goals for us isn't he?
POTS in our promotion campaign.
Put in consistently good performances last season that helped us to the top half (despite his lack of goals).
Given a new contract by the club to virtually universal praise by fans.
Scored our only two goals this season.

BUT...

Bad start by the team.
Lack of goals and chances.
Therefore, he's shit. Get rid. Cancel contract.

Dont be a silly lad.

But will he score the goals for us now....this season? No he won't.

Replace and have him playing a bit part if circumstances dictate? Yes.

And WTF about last season (2 PL goals all season) or the Championship season the one before last (lower standard and far from PL standard). It's gone, he's now 32 and has little to fuck all pace. Other than the odd skilful flick what exactly does he bring to the team now?

The Titanic was a fabulous ship 14th April 1912 It wasn't a little bit later

And by the way (and you can check the history if you can be bothered) I was one of the few who was advocating his signing on a free transfer from Ipswich a few years ago and called it a clever signing. Many/most thought CW had lost his mind. I'm now saying he needs replacing. Time will judge who is right and wrong with this latest one between me and you.

The question is, will he put in performances which are of a high standard, helping us win points. I've put some evidence in my previous post to suggest that yes, he will.

His brilliant contributions in previous seasons show that in our team, and in this system, he is quality. Not playing as a 10, but as a striker. He's done it in the prem. I watched it all last season. Stood shoulder to shoulder with thousands of blades chanting his name at every opportunity.

If our bad start has soured you so much you cannot remember this, what can I do.

Won't work fella, we're into knee-jerking territory now.

Didzy has been one of our best players for the best part of 3 years now. I don't think he's a viable solution up front long term in the Premier League but to single him out this season so far is bizarre and illogical.

I also stood shoulder to shoulder with fellow Blades fans. Well I did until all seater stadia arrived. I also watched it all season. What's that got to do with the price of fish?

I've also put plenty of evidence to suggest he won't do it for us this season. He won't score enough to keep us up. You keep your sentiment, I will see the real situation.
