Agreed. But we don't play a number 10 anymore. We'd be silly to do so away at Arsenal too.

I love him, he's a class link up player. We need goals though, and he is not the answer to our scoring problem unfortunately.

If you played with shit footballers I'm guessing that's probably because that was your level pal. I'm happy with anyone playing backwards if there's no pass forward but when your playing as the second striker I atleast want you to look forward, try and beat a man and make something happen. This team is full of hard workers and crying out for a bit of creativity/flair. So yes I would happily take a player who played 30 odd games the season before last, was nominated for young player of the year and linked with every top club in England. Do you think didzy is a better player? Do you think he would offer more than brooks or someone similar?

Every team has weak players, i played north east counties level (not your pub league standard) and even there we had fckwits who were clueless about how to play proper football. Brooks is always injured so yep i would prefer mcgoldrick than someone who's body cant cope with top level football.

The two goals were shit defending. Coupled with a toothless attack this game was only going to go one way. The only consolation is that Fulham, WBA and Burnley are just as shit as we are.

I agree with the injuries side of brooks but he's very early in his career and needs time to grow/ fill out. Point I'm making is were dying for creativity and someone do something out of the ordinary weather than be brooks or someone else.

He is past his sell by date sadly, if we are going to rely on him this season then we really will be in trouble.

On the bench at best, awful passing today in tight situations. Not his fault, but at 32 & the quality of the PL he has not got it.

I agree he's been the heart of our best performances but through his work not really through his quality. If any team wants to survive in the premier you need to improve year on year. If I look at the 11 today the clearest position we needs to improve is up top and we need to create more chances. Didzy as much I think he's been very good for us is the player I'd replace in our 11
