I can’t see this happening. Wouldn’t surprise me if we made a couple more and utilised the loans (foreign and domestic).

Kongolo on loan and an attacking rcm / Cm and I think the window has genuinely been quality.

Hes a massive risk for whoever signs him at anything over 20m. Has he ever played anythingnclose to a full season ? He seems to have glass.legs and I don't think you ever truly 'get rid' of glandular fever. A club with a massive budget could take a punt but anyone we spend 20m or.more on needs to be as risk free as possible !

Brian Dean had glandular fever while a blade Brooks has had a troublesome ankle which after an operation is ok..
He was a late developer and physically got stronger while at Bournmouth.Dont see any reason he shouldnt have a great career.
Big clubs will be watching just in case he does have an ongoing ankle problem so cant see one rushing to sign him in this window .

Honestly think he could go on loan. We already know 1st hand he's no interest in playing in the champ. B'mouth price tag would price him out a perm move due to the injuries.

I still think it's highly highly unlikely he comes back, but, it's not completely unthinkable

Anyone can claim someone is worth any amount they like. Fact is if someone had offered £40M he’d not be with Bournemouth right now, so he’s not that guy.
He’s had one season at Premier League level which isn’t proven for me you need to do it for more than one year.
I’ll say the same as I did with Brewster; if he’s so highly rated as is being claimed, available at a supposed bargain price and no risk why has no one made a serious move for him?

I reckon there's something in this, I reckon Brooks has told Bournemouth that he wants it to happen.

He looks at Henderson, Ramsdale, McBurnie, Ampadu, Bogle, Lowe, Berge and Brewster and recognises that Sheffield United is a place to go if you're a promising youngster who wants to play the right way.

If you look at our manager/coaches, the way we were praised last season, the overlapping CBs style & attacking way we play, a club on the up (current lge position excused) & now surrounding ourselves with young, exciting, up-and-coming talent..... if you were Brooks, with previous positive experiences at BDTBL and a high asking price (yet to be met), surely you would look at us and want to come and play for us back in the Prem on loan? Perhaps our best shout might be a loan to buy option?

We can dream, especially after today! CW has already said he'd love Brooks and DCL back here (we've little chance of DCL but who knows, possibly Brooksy aka chief nutmeg!).....

It seems a very logical and sensible question given we’ve not changed our formation for anyone and Brooks is unproven at PL level and hasn’t shown he has recovered from his injuries to make good on his promise with us and Bournemouth.

Unproven? He has more than proved that he is premier league quality.

I can see a CB for cover arriving nest week or two. (Championship to Prem loans closes Oct 16th I think) I can't see a David Brooks though. I think we've all but spent the kitty and that might also include the Jan window back up fund

Regardless of wages and anything else, can we see Brooks being able to play in the RM role for us? It involves as much defensively as going forward and whilst he's kind of willing I don't reckon he's good enough tackling, marking or strength-wise.
