agree, Liverpool do hold all the cards, but they seem willing to let him leave, I just can’t imagine what the hold up could be? Is it a major or a minor stumbling block - you’d imagine after all the talks we would be in the same ball park.
And equally I’m not sure why the time couldn’t have been used to thrash out a deal contingent on them getting Jota (etc.) through the door.
Then all’s that would be left is dotting the eyes and crossing the t’s. The longer of goes on the more chance of being a last minute hiccup!
A lot of this will be down to the agent and personal terms. Once the fee is agreed, bid accepted and any club related clauses are agreed it's down to the player (or the agent) to agree personal terms which can take some working out if you've got an agent who's got a player that's had smoke blown up his arse for so long. It's the agent who tend to think they have all the aces then the cunts!!
