On a similar note, why do they do that; just post a random photo of McBurnie in his training gear with a comment of “our number 9”, or a picture of Berge in a snood and “The big Belgian geezer” written underneath? And...? Who enjoys looking at photos of our players doing ordinary things? They don’t need to constantly peddle this shite out. It’s pointless. We know they’re still there and the club still exists.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m on Twitter and Facebook, I think I’ve still got an Instagram account as well, but I use them for different things really. Facebook’s oreit for keeping in touch with old work friends I don’t see anymore and Twitter is good for sports news, if you know who to ignore and who to pay attention to.

I completely get why you’d hate it though. There’s too much “look at me” bollocks (not “look at mi bollocks”), too many adverts, too much made up bullshit and not enough worthwhile content. I’m on it for the 5 or 10% interesting stuff but scrolling through the 90-95% bilge is a bit time consuming and annoying.
