Nearly in advanced talks is brilliant. What on earth does that mean.
It’s very simple do keep up...
1. There is, of course, the moment before you talk
2. Then there is the moment you actually do talk..beginning of the talks
3. If the talk is of sufficient quality it progresses to intermediate talks.
4. Far too infrequently, the talk reaches such a crescendo of absolute quality it progresses to advanced talks.
5. However, I must confess I am completely stumped knowing the moment when intermediate talks become nearly advanced talks.
6. Therefore, I can only surmise that this guy must really be ITK!

Ahh when you put it like that it's clear.

Well he'd certainly add some pace to the side. Not quite sure where he'd fit into the side though - I certainly don't see him as a striker unless CW sees an urgent need to play a speedboat without a rudder there

Seems an odd one. He'd want to play regularly but I doubt I'd want him to start regularly.

Think he could be a great loan signing if we don't get Hendo back next year. (and not to play in goal before any sarcy twat replies with that)
I think the sarcasm will be around the ridiculous suggestion, not that he'd play in goal.
No. I just feel it is a totally ridiculous suggestion. Dan James has featured in 44 games for Man Utd this season (out of 56). Why would he be available on loan?
Friendly bet?

I'll donate £10 to this site if he leaves Man Utd on loan

Fairs fair...

They are signing Cuisance today from BM. This kid is a top young player, Leeds have blown us away i'm affraid.

I'm talking about ambition and progression.
Just to confirm... According to reports we're on the verge of splashing hefty funds on one of the most talented goalscorers we could vaguely even realistically buy... After finishing 9th in our first season back in the big time...

And you're managing to find a negative because someone else is spending even more money?

They are planning for top 6 season after season, we are still recruiting with one eye on the Championship.

Do you think we're able to be planning for top 6 season after season? There's being hopeful and ambitious, but then there's also being realistic about the size of our club.

It's frankly ridiculous the way some of our supporters set us unrealistic expectations.

That's one of the most ridiculous things I've heard for quite awhile. Unbelievably negative and unnecessary.

Are you just a big old wind up merchant?

P.S. Leeds can plan for top 6, but it's far more likely they'll get relegated.

And like it or not, Leeds are a much bigger club than us (as they fucking should be as a one club city). They have bigger funds and more potential to aim higher.

I'm still happy with 17th. Our first team is much better than the sum of its parts but our squad is vastly inferior (on paper) to almost every other team. We've seen the difference between a fit, on form and buzzing first team and one with a few injuries and with players off form. I'm not convinced many of our first team would find a home in another Premier League team.

We have one of the lowest budgets, one of the poorer owners and the fact we've come up so quickly means our facilities and development/youth teams are lagging behind. We'll need a few years in the top flight to even catch up a bit.

I rate the Cuisance signing but 27m for Rodrigo and then Dan James. That's a big load of meh for me.
