To the people who are down in the dumps, the ones who are questioning our ability, the fans bemoaning our luck & the folk who are pointing the finger.

Have some patience. This squad & more importantly, the manager have earned that at least.

The goals will come.
The performances will improve.
The results will happen.

UTB.

Exactly.
Ups and downs inevitable.
As a United fan you expect more downs than ups.
Wilder ought to have a job for life here.
He's exceptional.

As a positive

Our ‘crap’ post lockdown form equated to 1.1 points per game.

Over our remains 35 games. That’s about 38.5 points (probably enough to stay up.) No denying the club could do with a boost though, a striker, a signing, a statement of intent might help.

Even a goal might lift the mood a little. The ball os very much in the boards court to her wilder the tools he has been requesting for 2 months

There are a lot of people incorrectly equating the fact that we haven’t scored any goals with us not being capable of scoring any goals.

In all three games this season we’ve created chances that on another day we would score. Against Wolves for example on another day Fleck’s shot that hit the post would go in and McBurnie’s header wouldn’t be cleared off the line. When that happens we’ll be talking about how we’d picked up a very good point (or even all 3, if we don’t give the opposition a 2 goal head start). The Villa game isn’t one you can judge us on as we were down to 10 so early but even then we created things. Sometimes teams go through spells where they just don’t get the rub of the green, things will soon turn around.

Many of the people claiming that we’re already relegated will also tell you that Leeds will have no problem with stopping up but watching that game today it isn’t possible to argue that one team will avoid relegation comfortably whilst the other have chance of avoiding the drop.

Yes we may have lost today but if we continue to play like that we’ll win enough points to keep us above the bottom three.
