I don’t think we’ll reach an agreement for Brewster at all and Sturridge will want one big final payday which we won’t get near
Fiver says we sign one of them

I’m 99% sure we announce Brewster next week. Is 99% enough to be classed as sticking your neck on the line?
Are you sure ?Well Jags isn't
Are you sure ?
Deal.If the transfer doesn't happen next week then you will have to quit the forum.
No he’s notNixon now saying Brewster’s first choice is Palace

If we get an @rse kicking tomorrow it might speed things up but make us even less attractive. Win and the board might think we can manage, who knows?stop dicking around and actually get someone in to contribute.
Now you have to also think about quality of life based on R rate for who knows how long. London.Peckham, Knightsbridge, Chelsea...Hathersage ....Peak District etc.Don’t think that changes anything for us. Has always been the case that if Palace bid what Liverpool want then he’ll be on his way there. We’re just hoping they don’t.
My question would be how much can we actually afford, or how much do we actually want, to pay for him. Would seem a bit weird at this point if Liverpool went back to the original plan to loan him out.
London.... Sheffield......Better here with the countryside nearby. Current times et al. What will be.![]()
Being a bit harsh there r666. There’s plenty to see and do. Sheffield are steaming ahead with providing numerous empty office accommodations in the city centre just as the whole world working centrally has collapsed. Plus we eventually have an Ikea (just as it’s going out of fashion). And what young lad wouldn’t enjoy the challenge of finding their way across Sheffield city centre and finding a parking spot so you can check out the boarded up shops or place a bet or give a bundle of clothes to one of the charities. We asked one hundred 20 year old lads whether they'd rather live on £40k pw in one of the most exciting cities in the world or half of that near the countryside....
Our survey says....

I think you've just about summed it up there. I've been watching this thread for days, no weeks and it strikes me the whole saga is going nowhere.Let’s hope IF he’s going to palace they wrap it up quickly so we can stop dicking around and actually get someone in to contribute.

I personally think Villa and others have set the bar for players like Brewster, and if some club wants to pay 25 mil + then good luck to them.
To me he's worth 15 mil + add on's then has to fit in our wage structures. CW has looked pretty pissed off of late, I don't believe it's with the Board, it lies with this sorry mess.
Let's tell Liverpool thanks but no thanks, no need to piss them off verbally as they just want what appears now to be market value for him.
Let's look forward and move on, there's stormy weather ahead.
As usual, in Wilder we trust
