Doku from Anderlecht. Brandend as the successor of Hazard. Only 18 and already A international for Belgium. All top teams are after him but he wants game time and build his career step by step.

Raskin from standard, 19 years, already the play maker of standard and rules the midfield. Comparable to Tielemans.

Vanheusden from standard, 21 years, central defender, trainde by Inter Milan and won best player of the season in Italian Primavera competition. Very close to the National team and brandend as the successor of Kompany.

Lokonga from Anderlecht, 20, central mid with power and technical ability.

Verschaeren from Anderlecht, 19, creative attacking midfield

De Ketelaere from Club Brugge, 19, attacking mid or second striker, good vision, physical présence and technique.

Kayembe from Charleroi, 26, left wing back who is making a big name since his transfer from Nantes. Close to the National team in the form he is now playing.

Cobbaut if we ever lose JOC?

Chris Durkin young American(20) currently playing for Sint-Truidense.Good with his feet, great passing range, and can play as an attacking mid but mainly as a cdm

Cobbaut is not rated at all. He is called up for the National team because of the friendship between Kompany as Anderlecht boss and Martinez but every Belgian fan and Anderlecht fan thinks Cobbaut is wel below the level required. Anderlecht is driving up his value to off load him.

Verschaeren because FIFA 2020 says yes.

Would LOVE Verschaeren. Sadly, we’re skint
Yep.. would absolutely love him here too. Also wouldn't mind seeing Doku here, bought him a few times on fm20 and he always turns out amazing

The most affordable and realistic would be Raskin. He is not yet as established as a world talent but I am sure in 1 or 2 years he will be on the level of Tielemans. Someone who you can buy now for 10 mio and who will be worth 50 mio in 2 years.

Your posts are a great addition to the Blades forum Purple Rain. Appreciate your interest in us, good luck to Beerschot this season, will look out for your results.

Doku( nicknamed "Count") is a Footie Manager top pick (FM19). Felt strangely proud when I saw him get a cap for Belgium last week. God I need to stop playing that game.

You will need to do that to make the next step. Maybe this is still power play between CW who seems to only buy Brittish and the advisors of the Prince who have a big international network. With the money spent on Championship players you can find bigger talents in Europe.

Doku linked with Liverpool and Man City for £23 Mill

The hardest part is that Doku was a Beerschot youth player who went to Anderlecht when we went bust, othwise he was ours and could go to Sheffield for a fraction of that amount. My hope is that in 3-4 years we will be back where we were 15 years ago, producing one world talent after another and then we don’t have to sell anymore to Anderlecht and Brugge but can sell them to you in the PL. That will be the ideal world for the Prince where we all benefit.

That's how you improve the squad but we seem to be wasting money on british players who aren't quality

Aster Vranckx, just turned 18 last week and is also a very big talent of Belgian football. Yes it’s the guy of the really bad miss 2 weeks ago but the week after that he scored 2. To rule the midfield like he does at the age of 17-18 is really impressive. Only bad thing is that he plays for a matchfixing team whose owner is currently in jail for fraud.

That would go down well us taking another Mechelen player 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you Mr Van Winkel. Have you told Abdullah about these? 🤔

Junyo Ito, Japanese creative winger/10 of Genk and Onuachu, big target man who scored 12 goals in 13, handful for any defence. 2 attacking players that can make an immediate impact.

I always enjoy reading your posts. Please keep writing them!

I would think (or hope) that we know about these players (through Van Winckel) and are looking at them.

Some great suggestions there. But I can't see us going for any of them.
