Questions that need answering

Wilder has done an unbelievable job so far but today the criticism goes on him. I question these decisions...

1. Lundstram won't sign a new contract, so why is he in the team ahead of our record signing? He doesn't seem interested.

2. We spent 10m on Mousset, he scored some key goals for us last season and is our only current striker with pace. The past 6months hes been missing more than hes played. Whats happening with him is he a lost cause?

3. Stevens and Baldock played every game last season, so are very fit players. Whilst backup will always be needed why were these signings prioritised over a striker with a bit of pace which is quite obvious what we have needed since January.

4. Why did we let a player with some pace (Robinson) leave without at least signing a replacement first.

5. How are we stronger this season when we have started the same 11 as last? That suggests we are no stronger, just have more depth.

If anyone knows the answers please feel free to answer them.

3. They've not, we're trying to sign somebody

4. He wasn't quick

5. I'd suggest having back up does give more strength. And let's see how the new boys do...and perhaps see past the first 35 minutes of the bleedin season

Got a knock in the last friendly and isn’t match fit

You may have missed it but we signed Burke.

5. How are we stronger this season when we have started the same 11 as last? That suggests we are no stronger, just have more depth.

Valid, but suggest we wait until the end of the window which is 3 weeks away

Robinson ain’t no quickie
 
We are evolving - spent a few quid on the training ground and because of Covid don’t have the funds to spend this season.i think we will be okay but sporadic.....we will win 3-1 one week and lose 3-0 next....we desperately need a quick striker to partner Oli Mc.....Moose I Wouldn’t be surprised to see on his way to France by the end of the week.

Quantity and quality are separate. If the new players can't get into the team (I know its early) it suggests to me they're jusr quantity atm, depth = quantity. That doesn't make us stronger.

1. Perhaps CWAK thought he’d be hungry. Perhaps Berge isn’t fully fit after the injury with Norway.

2. He tended to look better as a sub.

3. Being fit doesn’t mean you avoid injuries. Those are key positions for our system and we didn’t have proper backup for either.

4. I guess someone else is lined up. Or Burke?

5. Depth is a factor in determining strength. Last year, anytime we picked up 2-3 injuries we looked very weak. It’s a long-term thing.
 
Wow didn’t take you long !
1 Berge may not be fully fit (international pull out)
2 Mousset looked better coming on and may not be fully fit (we don’t see training!)
3 Who says the back ups were “prioritised”? May have just been easier to get over the line
4 Burke has more pace than Robinson allegedly so we shall wait and see as Robinson contributed little after the Chelsea game
5 Obviously we haven’t started the same 11 ! Keeper ? Being stronger in depth means we are stronger as a squad entering the season , the window isn’t closed so let’s not slit wrists after one half of football against a very good side !
Hopefully this has provided a couple of answers . Why are you so quick to be negative when this is obviously the best period in recent history! God help us if we do struggle as you will be unbearable!! Try getting behind them instead of being so quick to judge ! As ever UTB !
 



We needed three first teamers,Striker,RCM,C/H
The lad from Chelsea should hopefully fit into Basham's spot,a striker on the cards.? but quality is needed in midfield as well.
18million on a keeper without addressing the main issues should have been a priority.First game and only 45 mins you dont get relegated after one match
Hopefully this will focus the gaffers mind.

The keeper was the main issue. Behind Henderson we had Moore and Verrips - Moore is not Premier league level and Verrips can’t get ahead of Moore.

The second one is an easy save if he sorts his footwork out. He jumps from a standing start hence he gets nowhere near it. It’s closer to his body than it is the corner.

It’s bad goalkeeping.
