How much you seen of Dennis in comparison and what traits and attributes made you come to your decsion?

Makes me laugh our fans complain and say we show no ambition then when we try and sign a striker that has the potential to be a top Premier league striker some of our fans question it you couldn't make it up really.

For me Brewster would be an excellent addition up top for us he is a natural goalscorer pace to burn and has all the attributes to become a top player if it wasn't for injury he would be a premier league regular already i dare say.

People need some perspective at his age Salah Mane Firmino were all plying their trade in much lower leagues for example the lad is 20 years old and has all the time in the world to develop into a top class forward.

What more do our fans want? I mean i want us to show real ambition as much as the next person but we are not in the position to spend 35 to 50m on a single player yet.

And Brewster could and i think will prove to be a steal at 20m if we bring him in for that fee.

It was a genuine question to the other fella.
If he rates him higher than Brewster, then I just wondered what he’s seen and why I should be excited about him?
As I’ve said, I also don’t think Brewster will lift us to the next level this season, so wondered if he thinks Dennis will. Sithblade seemingly does and he’s watched him a fair few times.
I myself hope everyone is right, and they’re both world beaters in the making and we’re signing both but I’ll make my own mind up when I’ve seen them.

I was talking about others who seem to think he isn't even up to playing at PL level he was doing really well in his development until he got a bad injury to come back and play as well as he did at Swansea for me shows he definitely has the potential to step up another level.

Interesting times ahead if this is a goer on a permanent deal.
However, I suspect it’s more likely to be a loan. Which in all honesty I feel will have little impact for us as it will take a year or two with us to really make the most of what he’s got and for Wilder to get the best from him.

But if things have changed and pool want the money and to do a deal I reckon the Prince will seize on the chance and sanction the purchase, provided it is loaded to suit us with payments over a few years.

I get that your weren’t disagreeing with me, but I was clarifying that my post to Woodys Thunderbolt wasn’t calling it out, but genuine interest as I know nothing about this kid, and I can’t understand the excitement about him.
I know a little more about Brewster and I have doubts about him as a PL starter for the start of the season.

Could be a loan to buy deal a bit like what we did with Retsos.

Still a bit gutted we couldn't keep Retsos as there is potential there. If Ampadu is any good with us then Chelsea will just keep him after his loan spell.

I think we’ve a genuine belief Ampadu will also
be available in the summer given Chelsea’s interest in Rice and step up in the general expectations of them.

Nixon in this mornings rag apart from stating that apart from ourselves, Villa and Palace are interested, goes on to say:

Quote "Chris Wilder's Sheff ield United have been after Brewster for some time and also had preliminary talks with the youngsters camp last week. The Blades are also happy to buy after originally looking at a loan deal"

I've been saying this to our young 'un today. If Liverpool are willing to sell a top young striker like that for £20M we should snap their hands off. He'll at least double in value if he hits 15 or 20 goals for us this season. No brainer!

Can't see that as if he does well will Liverpool still sell him for 20m

Well with how Rice is performing lately then they would be mad to sign him.

To be fair to the lad the whole team is not together the club is rotten to the core and been like that for years.

You can be the best player in the world but once it turns toxic at the club like it has at west ham the only way to chant that is change of ownership.

The problem is blades don’t enter bidding wars , the will turn their backs if it gets to that.
What if it's sealed envelopes at midday?

I nearly won a bidding war like that for a house. I was delighted when the estate agent rang me and said we'd won. But after the sealed bid, one of the losers went to the house and offered the owner another £40k over whatever the winning sealed bid was - and he took it. 😳

Can’t do loan to buy Prem to Prem as far as I know

I did somat similar in 60s sealed envelopes I put an extra 10 bob on end of bid and that won it apparently. 😂

I don’t understand why people worry about loan or buy back. If Brew man comes and has a good season it means another Prem season - loads more money and 2 windows for the Wilder Bettis poker team. Young rising stars will be queueing up.

This is the big one, and we need the best we can get for the next 8-9 months. Ampadu and Brewster in the red and white - even if only for a year - was the stuff of sticky sheets a very short time ago.

Let the magic happen - please.
