Our current one most definitely won't, unless it's a long the lines of, these are our strikers, he's got to get in front of them.
Sorry, maybe didn't make myself clear.
Looks like he's already done it.

Armstrong has taken the hard route around the league's, so will be hungry to prove himself. Brewster 20 games on loan at Swansea and in the queue for Liverpool's best. Might not have the same hunger and be just another Woodburn.
We could probably get him and Dack for the same as Brewster. That's more of a CW deal.
In my opinion, Brewster is hungry to be one of the best strikers in the league. That's different level hunger to (perfectly decent player) Adam Armstrong to be honest.

Can anyone imagine any of our previous managers doing such a thing?

I'd love to see Blackwell's effort.

He'll be feeding off Daruis's flick ons and knock downs and have the chance to score for fun.

Think Moose will have taken note of all the striker speculation and it will have given him the "kick" that he needs. Moose and Mcburnie partnership will flourish this season whilst Sharp, Burke, Mcgoldrick + 1 other will chip in where necessary. . . . . Hopefully . . . . . .

It certainly smacks of a level of professionalism and competence we've never really had at the Lane and you'd like to think it would hit home with Brewster's advisors, parents and agent that this is an environment in which he will be given every chance to thrive. Klopp also gives the impression that he is very much a 'duty of care' manager, especially when it comes to youngsters. Whether or not there is a buyback clause involved this kind of thing would sit very well with him.

Must say, I share this scepticism.

I find it hard to believe several of our fans spend their spare time watching Club Brugges games.
His goalscoring record isn't impressive at a much lower level.
It wasn’t scepticism it was genuine interest in what the poster has seen that brought him to his conclusion. Whenever I’ve asked questions around the excitement for Dennis no one has seemingly seen much of him at all so it’s entirely unfounded and based on nothing.
I’ve seen Brewster in maybe 5-6 games and have a view of him which again differs from those who were desperate to get him on loan whereas I do not see him as a starter until later in the season and believe while he has huge potential he’s a lot to learn to become a Premier League starter as did McBurnie for that matter at the start of the season. McBurnie grew into the role and it took him a good couple or more than and he’s still not had consistent run of 12-15 games where he’s at his best, and Brewster will be the same, it may even take him longer. But there’s a player in there, and if they keep working and stay dedicated we’ll have a great forward pair from Rhian and Ollie who would compliment each other, and finally be ready to step up and replace Billy and Dids for the future. Then there’s Lys and Burke who’s are total wildcards at this stage, Moose less so obviously but if one of those steps up then we’ve a very young potent strikeforce for our position and as Bournemouth found, that can keep you in the league for a sustained period.

I’ve seen him play quite a few times although I defer to what PurpleRain says who clearly knows what they are talking about. His pace and skill is Another level to what we currently have. Lazy people look at his overall stats but many of those games he played RW and sometimes even LW. What is telling is that when he played CF last season in 13 games played he scored 7 goals, 4 of which were in Champions League and Champions League Qualifying. To suggest it’s a lower level is ridiculous. So he effectively played the CF role in less than a third of his total games. He’s 22 and if given the opportunity to play/learn the CF role permanently the potential is frightening

Thanks for your view, I still think it’s a risk as you’ve essentially described Moose and the price is huge. If he’s this good though, why is there no other interest when Premier league teams find players like Wesley and Joelinton are for more money? I get the Berge comparison but big teams were interested but didn’t move, this lad no ones seemingly interested yet he’s another level?
I guess the Brewster/Dennis comparisons will continue but while both seem risky it would appear there’s very little data even subjective opinion, to do this against.

Sounds like we are trying land him on loan if we are having meetings with Liverpool about how we plan to develop him 🙁

Wilder has been saying all along the final signing is likely to be a loan

Maybe loan to buy with a buy back for Liverpool on the eventual purchase?
