Perhaps it’s just that he doesn’t have what it takes to be a successful top level footballer, rather than him being a disruptive influence?
I'm sure he's a nice lad but I'm going to use him as a reason why my three year old shouldn't pull faces; I'll tell him that Burke's got stuck that way when the wind changed. He looks like he'd turn up uninvited on your stag do and ruin it because he's coked off his tits
Looks strong, fit and fast. If under CWAK he can learn and develop tactically then we may have done some savvy business. Hopefully we came out better off from the double undisclosed fee swap deal but as usual the club are remaining tight lipped over fees
Boring and negative post.Is this a straight swap deal? If so, it seems like we've been shafted.
Another failure project. They tend to go nowhere. But I guess we know Robinson won't work so I guess nothing to lose other than money.
In Wilder we trust!Looks strong, fit and fast. If under CWAK he can learn and develop tactically then we may have done some savvy business. Hopefully we came out better off from the double undisclosed fee swap deal but as usual the club are remaining tight lipped over fees.
I liked Robinson and wanted him to stay personally but it looks like he was a mistake by Wilder and IF the deal was good for us then hopefully it was financially redeemed.
Yep, seems so.Did Chris confirm in that interview that Rambo was 18 million ??
And at 23 has time on his sideIn Wilder we trust!
Given that we got Callum for 7 million, Burke is less than 7 million for us, for that price he is a decent gamble.
think he was going with the figure that was banded aboutDid Chris confirm in that interview that Rambo was 18 million ??
Sharp said that he always turned up late to things and was racking up the most fines of anybody.
He made some coded social media remarks about "being in the freezer" with Keiron Freeman - left out in the cold.
Wilder didn't want to discuss his departure when he left - usually you'd get "he goes with our best wishes..." but, to me, he seemed a bit annoyed about him (understand this is my perception / interpretation).
An ex-manager of his on Undr The Cosh mentioned he wouldn't turn up to do gym work because he was embarrassed by his lack of strength, but couldn't figure out that that was because he wouldn't put the work in...
He's had some run-ins with the law.
Mark Noble said he didn't turn up to play for West Ham on Christmas / Boxing Day one year and had all the lads ringing round.
I think there's enough in there to suggest he's got some attitude problems / mental issues.
I also agree with you, that he just isn't up to being a professional footballer though. Has never sustained a high level of performance and shown that he can play in a team and in a system. Whilst great on the ball, he's all over the place off it and never seems to understand his role.
He seems to have lost some timber since his Forest days....

Predominantly a right winger but as we don't play with wingers, I can only imagine he's been brought in as a forward. Certainly got pace and he's 6'2" so should be useful in the air.

You only have to refer to the team across the city to see what holding on to players for too long does to you.But if you take a punt and it doesn't work out, surely its better to cut your losses and get rid rather than stubbornly soldier on?
How many other clubs have binned off two record signings in just over a year, like we just have? (I know Robinson and Freeman aren't recording signings now, but they were when they were bought)
Six? Eleven? Does it matter? It's not like either were big money in Prem terms and both were bought not expecting us to progress so well. It's inevitable that some players wouldn't keep up.

Ravel Morrison: The sad, sorry tale of a wasted talent
The West Ham midfielder has ventured down a well-trodden path and lost his way.www.the42.ie
Sums him hip this article.
Great talent, mouthy on Twitter, fighting with teammates, cant knuckle down.
Yeah. But demonstrates his character and what he is and isn't capable of.You do realise that’s an article so old that Nigel Clough was blissfully still our manager?
So on that basis we should get in touch with this woman sssh Dean Smith will be hot footing overOliver Burke's kick ups record is 6. Just think about that for a second.
He keeps finding clubs because his sister is his agent.

Indeed he was - and I don't have a grey beard. One for the grey beards this. Wasn't Bill Dearden a winger at Chester before we signed him in 1970 & then he played up-front for us?
Just 4 each ?Fleck, McBurnie, Burke.
I'd put a bet on the three scoring a dozen goals .
So basically the case for Morrison being a “disruptive influence” is being fined for turning up late at training (routine fines that other players like Mousset have received), Sharp saying he was “in the freezer”, and Wilder not wanting to talk about the topic, a frostiness Wilder regularly displays in interviews when interviewers change to random topics mid interview.
Can anyone explain how this disruptive player disrupted the squad out of interest?
