Positive view from the Guardian

Very fair assessment on the whole.

The Guardian writers appear to have been knowledgeable about us for quite some time.

Any Wednesday fan looking at this comment wants their head checking. What are you doing on here?

You'd be surprised.
If I hadn't put that there would be a fair chance someone posting on Porktalk that we think we are going to finish 3rd.

At last, a reporter who calls us United and in the same sentence acknowledges the newer Manchester United.

Good until they state we stole the nickname Blades from Wednesday. All sporting teams from Sheffield at that time were collectively known as Blades when reported on by local media.

Lazy journalism just looking up wiki which has been altered countless times by the porcine of S6 to promote the view they were first at everything. If the journo had done his research and consulted Blades authors he would know both teams were called the Cutlers originally because of their affiliation with the steel Industry. In away games the preferred nickname used was Blades by both teams, true to say a lot of local teams at the time were referred to as Blades. Eventually SUFC decided to distinguish themselves from the dark side by adopting Blades leaving the pigs to keep the name Cutlers.

Typically the Pigs squealed saying they liked the nickname Blades and as they were the bigger, older and better club( the origin of massiveness) they should chose the nickname. We told them to fuck off stop copying us and kept the name. For a number of years they perpetuated the myth we had stolen their nickname and referred to themselves as Blades until 1912 when an owl was presented to the Club by one of their players.

Another example of the media’s positive take on Wilder’s approach

Very informative article, while the second season syndrome numbers are worrying me, it's unlikely.

Wilder backed by the Prince will make sure that this will not happen.
