Got an ITK friend. Apparently Rhodes is off to Stockbridges Park Steels, with SWFC picking up £39,500 of his £40,000 per week salary. Rumour has it Chansiri has lined up a double swoop for Michael Higdon and the bloke who shagged a bat to create Covid as the new SWFC frontline.

I can assure you it’s bollocks, I mean true.
 
He was stating last week how he could play in the prem. I’m sure if that offer was there and probably similar to what he’s gone for he would have took it.

1. We have not offered a league 1 player, valued at £5M, more than McB, £18M last year, a proven goal scorer in both Champ and Prem. sauce; just basic common sense
2. Brentford’s business model does not support wages anywhere near £20kpw + - sauce; a bunch of banana’s
3. Toney is not going to turn down Prem football at 24. There are a rare few in life who turn down that opportunity and Toney is certainly not one of them

Premier league football with last seasons manager of the year and this season's runner up is over rated anyway. I'd rather ply my trader against Luton Town for a gaffer who chews gum like it's made of nettles.

Yeah. Dismiss everything as nonsense it seems. Then when Richard Cadette came along (whom I'm not claiming to be btw, far from it), everyone tore into him, before realising he was the real deal, and by this point he'd got ticked off with everything. None of this matters really as Toney has gone elsewhere, so the thread needs closing really, but the information I got is from a good source and I've every reason to believe it's correct. Dismiss it if you want, but the calling me a pig (not you) has really hacked me off. The wages Brentford offered were in excess of £30k per week (again scoff if you want) but it shows what CWAK are up against in signing players, and probably explains why Roswell has been resigned. A decent, English, championship player is £10m+ at the moment, like it or not.

I'm not claiming anything, the deals been done, I'm just telling you what I've been told.
