I like both Freeman and Besic. I'd be OK if we got decent money for Lunny and bought Besic back with the surplus going to strengthen other areas. I would be disappointed if we lost Freeman - was a real shame he got injured when he did and think with him, Swift (hopefully) and Didzy we have the creative options we need to provide the link play.

Regardless of anything else, the lad can't last 90 minutes. If his fitness can't be increased massively then he's a liability. We simply don't have the money to carry strikers.

He's played 85 minutes 3 times I think, but then again you could probably count the amount of full 90s by all our strikers combined on your fingers, maybe a few toes too. They always get subbed.

Fair point.

Well you can stop worrying about the Lambo as he appears to have purchased a Rolls Royce now.

Unless of course he's now got both 😲

Well obviously, you cant get a baby seat in a Lambo?

What is it they say about a fool and his money?..................🤔

is that why car dealerships have big windows?!?! 🤑

I love moose!

in terms of goal threat he is out biggest - he’s unpredictable and powerful. Hope he's here for many years.

I'm not saying we should sign him now, I just thought he was worth ago then.

What I am sure about, and said at the time, is that we shouldn't have bought Luke Freeman. He wouldn't have got into our Championship team and he damn sure wasn't going to force his way into a Premier League XI.
Really? I thought L. Freeman generally played well when he replaced Fleck. And would have definitely got plenty of game time in our championship team. I like Dowell too, but Freeman is better.

He did OK a few times (especially against Palace and standing in for Fleck) but he never threatened Fleck's role thereafter. I'll be honest, I never really rated him like others did at Championship level. He's was kften anonymous against us, in his QPR daya at least.

He may have offered more than Dowell but ue was absolutely no match for an on-song Duffy.

Fair enough. His Championship stats are pretty great. Most Blades wanted him since Stevenage playoff season! Respect your opinion on it.

Sorry, you thought he did well??

In an overall lower-tempo first half he did some good pressing, came deep looking for the ball a few times, and showed that little bit of skill that he has and the other forwards don’t.

My only gripe would be the shot that he booted miles over the bar.

Hence why I find the notion that he was embarrassing a little strange.

I wouldn't say embarrassing. Not even disappointing. More or less in line with expectations. Did OK for 20 minutes, then started blowing a bit, slowly declined to a half time substitution.

He doesn't look like someone who is going to take the league by storm any time soon, but he will probably perform a decent 15 minute role from the bench most weeks. Maybe that's enough for us? At £6-10m it's probably all we can expect. Just a bit of a shame because we all know he could be so much more.

I think for the fee we paid for this lad, it isn't unreasonable to expect him to be able to play for 90 minutes. He looked totally shot after 30 mins in most matches last season, and this wasn't due to him busting a gut whilst he was on the pitch.

Compare his work rate to McBurnie (and many others) and the contrast in fitness/effort is clear for all to see.

We've now given the lad every opportunity to get his head and body right for next season. Whether he takes that chance is up to him. If not, CW needs to act fast.

Agree with most of what you said, but try to find another striker that can score half a dozen goals and assist three or four times for the same price. Or that can have the same impact off the bench.

He's frustrating, but without him we're really light up there. He offers things none of our other strikers can. He can change the dynamic of a game.

I don't think we're going to see the Mousset we all want to, but he has something to offer
