Haa so he must be in Greece to "better prepare for the season"? Dont talk daft. Let me know which player and which performance centre you are on about and I will apologise in person to the lad.
I did not name any player at all because I dont know who it was. You obviously do, so tell us who it is? are you his trainer?
Can he not run in a moderate climate?
I was talkin about the public in general with the twat remark.
From your reaction u seem to have inside knowledge about which idiot from united is pretending to be in training whilst really going on the piss in Greece?
Also, you are wrong about his chances of catching it over here too. If hes in a bar surrounded by other daft twats he's more chance of catching it.
If u cant see that, you shouldn't be commenting on a sensible post and taken offence on something I never said.
Dele Alli played for Spurs yesterday so presumably not him.
It maybe lower but I'm struggling to remember if 2 players from us have had covid since the restart staying in England? I think Its the situation they got into that was more risky, bars etc. Interesting they had personal trainers. The infection rate in Greece is lower than here...
Jack O’Connell and Baldock were both in Mykonos, they had personal trainers
So are you his trainer? You commented in a way that suggested you knew more about the situation than me, which wouldn't be hard because I dont even know who the players are. Trying to turn it on to me is just you covering your arse because you put one of their names out there. The irony of claiming I've 'taken offence' over something you've not said whilst simultaneously pulling out a load of nonsense I've never even alluded to is quite something.
Calm down, dear.

You are right, reading it back it did come across harsher than I meant. I dont follow them on twitter either so havent seen any video clips. I still think its daft to be going abroad for training when the season starts so soon and a lot rides on the players behaving sensibly. I do take your point I could have worded it better and less ranty.Wow. What a terrible, angry response that was.
I have never met either Baldock or O'Connell but I follow both on Instagram. They have both been to a performance centre in Greece and it looks like they were put through their paces. Hot weather training is all the rage these days.
"Pretending" to be training!? You clearly didn't see the videos of them ACTUALLY training. So pipe down.
I saw Norwood in the greedy Greek at Hunters bar. He was buying Moussaka and olive bread in an ill fitting mask. Perhaps he's one of the afflicted?
(but with a mask on)Annnnnndd Breeeeeaaaaattttthhhh.
Just as much chance of catching it in a bar or supermarket over here as there is over there.
On this point, Ramsdale was one of the first English players to catch it. Not trying to spread fear, but I wonder next season will there be a few fitness issues across the league with players that could be linked to whether they've had it or not? Will be interesting to seeand to pre-empt the abuse, I'm not sure people realise how COVID-19 works. It's not always just a case of catching it, self-isolating and then being fine again. There are a significant proportion of people who have recovered from it but still have symptoms which mean they cannot live their lives normally.
If that happens to a professional athlete, as with other respiratory diseases, they could not fully recover for over a year.
As it is, two players won't be fully ready for the start of the season. Imagine if it was much worse? Imagine if it is two of our most important players? Imagine if because two of our first team aren't fully prepared, that we lose out first two games. And we take that form forward and we're bottom of the table after 10 games. Imagine if we failed to really recover from the slump. Imagine us getting relegated. Football is about fine margins.
Just so the lads could get pissed with their mates in Greece?
Now, that lot probably won;t happen, but it could.

JOC is oneWasn't JOC there too? Has he been filmed training?
Baldock was with Dele Alli so if one is Baldock I'd guess t'old Rona was faster than Dele after all and he's the England player.
Don't think you would need a pic mate, I'm sure you would have noticed him!You would presume the tests were done before they began training. If that’s right then Billy & Baldock have been training this week. Not seen any photos of JOC back training off the top of my head.
They just can't stay at home and train safely can they. Twats, got loadsa money, gonna spend it as irresponsibly as I can. Let club, teammates ( although most of them would be doing the same I guess) and fans down.
Hahah I can't believe how many bed wetters we have following the Blades these days. For fuck sake, they have just had a long, physically and mentally tough season. The whole world has been mentally damaged by this pandemic. We have to try to live as normal a life as possible while, obviously, taking the appropriate precautions - otherwise we go doolally! These are young, fit men, out in the sunshine doing some personal fitness and of course, taking time out to relax too. They were just unlucky. No probs - live with it. They probably had more chance of catching it by staying here - well unless they lived in total isolation.
It was the same back in the 80s when HIV/AIDS burst onto the scene. Kin ell, did that put a bit of a dampener on the Thrusday, Friday and Saturday pulling nights. But did we stop? Did we fuck, we just accepted it and adjusted our lifestyle accordingly, ie wear a condom at all times - at work, watching tele, in the bath..... everywhere (well apart from when shagging cos they are fuckin horrible)![]()
