2020/21 fixtures release date

You say no winter break, but I'm sure I saw one matchday split into a/b so they're doing the same as before, not that it makes a difference given the level of midweek plus Cup games from mid December through to early February
 
Cant believe how the buzz of the fixture release, has been replaced by an empty feeling this year.
Almost meaningless for the first time in 40 years of watching the red and white wizards.
Still remember the feeling of buying the Star in the 80s and pouring over every fixture.
Great times, shit team!

That split is for tv coverage purposes to cover one of the bundles BT have purchased for the mid winter break. Given each team is playing the weekend before, during and after, there's no break!!
 
Article referring to premier league schedule for next season, certainly tight in terms of European football and premier league fixtures. Got to expect some of the top end teams in the division struggling to keep up with the pace. Looking forward to playing one of the big boys after their Wednesday night out in Kazakhstan. Also talks about the inability to play some fixtures if a team goes all the way in domestic/European Cup fixtures.

Remember waiting for the star. None of the internet releasing fixtures at 10am. You didn’t know the fixtures until the paper came through the letterbox at around 4pm

Used to buy mine from an old bloke stood in the doorway of the Howard Hotel, absolutely poured over those fixtures back then.
Wolves away 84-85 opening day is one I still vividly remember seeing.
Was counting the days.

A 2-2 draw I think? God knows why I remember that?

I was stuck in the middle of a field in deepest Worcestershire with my parents and sisters, on a caravan holiday. The 14 year old me hated every minute of being stuck in a cramped tin can for two weeks, and I've refused to stay in a caravan ever since.

The only thing keeping me sane on that holiday was listening out for the Blades score on an old, knackered transistor radio. Sheffield United FC were everything to me back then.

Edward's and Arnott I believe, first game after promotion, and we were 2 down.
 
Who does everybody want as an opener?
 
May as well start with away games at Man City, Liverpool etc while players get warmed up and there's no fans to make it harder?
 



Do Man City, Man Utd and Wolves start their seasons later due to European involvement? If so, want to avoid them

I was in between wives then and I managed a few away games.

I went to this match with my then best mate.

Hadn't that new stand of theirs just gone up - the slightly curved one down one touchline?

Never felt safe at Wolves.

I attended that game and remember that Edwards wasn`t even fazed by being 2-0 down. Knew he would score as he was smiling and enjoying the game. Was a bit rough leaving the ground afterwards but then it always was in those years. One of the stands was miles away from the pitch and was akin to watching the Blades from tho old cricket pavillion at the lane.
 
You want Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd early before they’ve settled in. Although from a purely selfish point of view I’d like all the big teams away from home games prior to Christmas so I’ve a better chance of seeing them.

PL have determined that teams need a 30 day break before the start of the season. Both Manc clubs will have to start their season in the midweek following the opening weekend but Wolves will have had a 32 day break so they can play the opening weekend.

The opening fixtures were leaked.we are away at Brighton.if that is correct or not.we will found out tomorrow 9 am.
The unimported league ie pub leagues and wendy.friday.I won,t be looking no interest.
 



looking forward to tomorrow so that we have the annual tradition of how much bollocks was leaked fixtures people talking
