I also wonder if some clubs are hanging fire a bit to wait for someone to move first and "set the market", particularly on established players - no one really knows how much players are worth now compared to pre-covid windows. I know City signed Ake but they don't really need to worry about value.

Yeah almost certainly a bit of this. A bit of everything really.

I think the (relatively) great thing about this short/difficult summer break is we're unlikely to sell anyone we don't want to sell, so the core of our team is strong and settled. Buying half a new starting eleven is a recipe for disaster, which some clubs will doubtless discover.

Yes, he performed has the 'ok no too bad stupendo' but he never hit the heights like Geoff. He still holds a grudge now.
If you read his articles hes always having a dig about stealing his act.

Everyone wants players but Almost no transfers have been completed so far. Things take time and often it’s a chain reaction with transfers, Player a has to move to allow player b to move in which allows player c to move etc etc etc.

Following ArcticRiz ’s original post its come out that the Matty Cash offer WAS way lower than reported, and that we’ve not gone back in for Ramsdale.

... so I’m holding out some hope for a jazzy Cakir, Robinson and Dennis announcement video later on, shortly followed by a video of Kevin Cookson screaming weather apologies to them all through a megaphone from BLUT 🤞
