Apparently were in for AEK Athens goalkeeper Vassilis Barkas, along with Real Betis & Celtic, but appears Celtic are leading the race and expect to sign him for £5 million in the coming days

That's a shame because he'd be a quality cheap, permanent option if we don't sign Hendo on another loan. If we were actually in for him that is.
 
Makes me laugh rumours like this.

We’ve ‘missed out’ on a player we have literally never been linked to until being informed by this website that we’d not got him.

What a load of bollocks. We’ll probably hold out for Hendo for as long as Man U make a decision and let’s be fair, they only have just over a month to do so.

Not long after securing 3rd with a newfound confidence, I’d be amazed if they replaced DDG. For a potential domino of such transfers needed to fall into place, I’d argue there is little time this summer for this to take place.

I don’t see them selling. I don’t see Man U promising the no 1 spot to a guy who has hardly played a game for them. Either he’ll be rotating with DDG, playing in the cups and being given a chance to put his money where his mouth is so to speak or he’ll be back on loan. I don’t see another team with a keeping vacancy at this level, unless a team on the continent comes in who can offer a good level and European competition.

I reckon he’ll be back unless the wage demands become prohibitive as I simply don’t see any of the other options appealing to the player or the club.

Me too - he's certainly available but expensive - the reason he didn't go to Celtic by all accounts
 

Forster had lost it, hence Southampton got rid. Also I've previously been informed by someone in Southampton he's very unpopular amongst their squad (he's a prat). That's probably the extent of my ITK by the way!
