Creative midfielders you would like to see us sign

Yeah yet scored 7 goals in a relegation team he is better attacking wise i his position than anything we have.

I'm not sure how many times this has to be stated by the reasonable posters on this board but Wilder is not about to rip up a formation that has had so much success over the last 4 years just because we didn't finish the season as strongly as the resident bed wetters would have wanted.

We don't play with wingers. It really is as simple as that. Even when we switch formation during the game we still don't so when you, or anyone else for that matter, are thinking of posting suggestions for our summer business please think twice before mentioning players that are out and out wingers as you're just leaving yourselves open to being shot down.

Wilder will sign players that fit into, and hopefully improve, our current formation. I very much doubt he will sign any players that he feels may be converted to play our formation ie Robinson.

I think he's a good enough player that he could play McGoldrick's role. Irregardless, there's no way we can afford him.

Yeah I rate him highly but he will either play for Brentford if they go up or will probably cost about £30m.

I think he probably could play the Didzy role but would be a very expensive gamble.

Harry Wilson is, quite frankly, gash. If you watch him closely he does virtually nothing all game bar the occasional highlight reel free kick and is so far from a Wilder player it's frightening plus he's an out and out winger.

Defoe had a great career in the PL doing nothing all game then poaching a goal out of no-where.

Completely different from a Wilder player, but maybe that's what we need at least at least one of to mix it up if needs be? It's probably why he signed Morrison last year.

Duffy was a winger when he came here, perhaps Wilson could make that same adjustment and impact.

It makes a big difference to your opinion on what funds are available. You were happy earlier if we matched last years summer budget (Approx £40M) but that wouldn’t cover the players you were suggesting so I’m guessing now you’re expecting much more than last summer, closer to £70M, which is unrealistic given fans won’t be attending for matches next year and they will hugely impact our expected revenues.

Gerard Deolfeu please..not sure if he's affordable...If not Eze or Benrama.

His ACL was rent asunder in February.

Players I would like to see us try and sign.

Benrahma Has the pace skill and trickery and would add real flair to the team and can unlock the oppositions defence in an instant and create something out of nothing he reminds me of Riyad Mahrez has the potential to go right to the top i think he would be a worthwhile investment with real resale value.

Harry Wilson i think he would be a brilliant addition too i would take him every day of the week in place of Norwood he adds a real goal threat great at set pieces and brings a real goal threat from midfield to the team and would love to see CW go for him he has scored 7 this season in a team that has struggled i think he would flourish in our team.

Demerai Gray would be another quality player I would love to see us go for i think he would add that extra bit of quality in the final 3rd for us and help us on the counter attack with his pace and trickery and it something we lack and think it could be the move the lad needs as well as his career seems to be going stale stuck on the bench at Leicester and think he would link up well with McBurnie and Mousett.

Eberechi Eze is everything that we have missed this season pace and a real eye for goal and someone who is not afraid to shoot from long range and test the opposition goalkeeper which is something we have lacked this season instead trying to walk the ball in more often than not which has been frustrating.

The lad has real potential and brings goals assists and real creativity to the team scoring 14 goals and 8 assists in an average championship team.

Would love to see CW sign him but know it would take a lot sign him but would be a real investment like Benrahma who I believe is going to the top too.

Duffy had played the No10 role the whole previous season at Burton.

It is cheaper to sign a winger and convert them into a striker and many of the best strikers started out as wingers. The idea of converting Robinson made sense but didn't work, that doesn't mean we won't try it again.
