91/92 was a 42 game season, so not a direct comparison. If you ignore the 4 games against Notts County & West Ham (bottom 2) then Bassett’s Blades got 52 points from the 38 games involving the top 20 clubs. So this season is better than that one already.

If you do a similar comparison against 74/75 and allow 3 points for a win then Furphy’s Blades would have got 57 points against the top 20. So win today and we will match 74/75 exactly.
