Out-fooking-rageous! £28 to watch a second tier match featuring two average (at best) teams. I love watching the Blades and am a long standing season ticket holder but these away games are becoming far too dear. I am aware that its probably market price at the moment as most clubs try to match or slightly under-cut each other but stroll off!!!!

I think I'll stay at home and listen to it on the radio thanks

Considering the dire tempo of sunday's game, who went and how much did you have to pay????

£26 for Boro, that really is a shithole.

That said there was a brief period of jubilation (I mean that, people were going crazy) when we put together some good passing in the 1st half.

ah feck, I'm thinking about going to this one. £28 is a lot for 2 crap teams to lug a ball about. Still quite fancy the day out and will probably take it on the chin.

 you're not wrong pal! After the QPR game I nearly went back to the ticket office for my fee....

I wrote to KB, KM and TB asking for my ticket, train fare and pie/bovril fees to all be reimbursed after Watford away last year. Fookers never wrote back to me.

After Preston there is a two week break so people will be back in the mood for football to see what Speed has done with the time to fit in his new players and his style. the loan window will also be open.
It would have been a good time for a home game oops wendy have it.

If it was the same ranting insulting letter you posted on here, i'm not surprised! :)

The recession really is biting into peoples budgets now.At one time fans would find the cash to follow their teams and foresake other things Not the case any more especially with some of the shit dished up,and clubs and players attitude to fans. You only have to look down the leagues at attendances.Newcastle only attracted 43,ooo for their first home game back in the premier league, around 10,000 short of capacity.Even Man Utd are advertising tickets nowadays.Football as out priced itself, and people will pick and choose their games more.

I am taking a leaf out of McCabes book, I am looking for someone with money to buy the Ticket, and I will sit in the Seat, an Investor if you like.

Its the Future, its the Blades Way

I'll be going. It's relatively nearby, it's my mates birthday weekend, i've loads of workmates who are Derby fans, and Derby is an away day i enjoy.

£28, why not?

Was tempted... saw it was £28 and thought of what I could save that money for instead.

That's an iron, or a toaster or a kettle (or all three if we're going Tesco Value) and a 1pm kick off means I don't miss out on much.

That's three cases of Beck's, some cheap and nasty whisky and a bag of peanuts.

Fuck the ironing, it's women's work.:D:D:D

And stand well back and await the shitstorm.....

I was working with a Derby fan about May time and their season tickets for an adult are about £250

I think i'll be going, promised to take the youth so double £28 for me
Then there is the coach fair as well.
It's getting a dear do'.

Sure is. Its the same issue for us. I have a season ticket with my younger brother and the old fella so we tend to go to away games together as well....

If we go, then usually we have to fund our kid as well as hes studying (so not working) and then there is petrol, parking, food....by the time we have done a trip to say Reading or even Derby for that matter becomes £120 touch - shared between two!

I can imagine its the same or worse if you have little un's. Its the Premier League thats done this to football as well.

Just seen the Leeds ticket details on the OS as well....£29 Adults.

Im not blaming the club for away day prices as thats down to the opposing club but its becoming absurd now. I used to love going to away games but if this is the going rate then I am now officially priced out. I'll have to pick a couple a season maybe if I fancy it.

I could go to every other away game if I wanted to but I refuse to pay that for a football match purely out of principle. Its too much and I couldnt sleep at night knowing I had put that into a football club's coffers to see ONE match. To those who can stomach it fair play to you....thats loyalty!

Really? Their site claims no increases in 5 years, which is impressive, but the prices look nowhere near £250 for adults. They do a very cheap (crap view) ticket, but I guess clubs can only offer these cheap when the grounds are full, otherwise people will just move to the posh seats. :)

pride park is in the middle of nowhere and a rite old hike to anything representing a pub.stay at home and watch it on the dab enjoying a crate of lager followed by a kebab and a good moan.28 quid can be much better used elsewhere than derby.fuk em

I suspect we'll treat Derby as a Cat A game and being charging them £34.
