Remember him covering us quite a lot last time we were in the PL and at various times in the cup runs and bits and pieces in-between. He's always been very complimentary and respectful. Easily the best football journo out there IMO.

I too rate Henry Winter and his report is a good reflection of the game but some of his ratings are debatable to say the least. Basham, Stevens and Baldock only 7s, less than Traore who I felt was marshalled very well (much better than in the game a Molineux) is mystifying.

I've always wondered if they just put a standard set of numbers down and give all goalscorers +1. It certainly feels like that most if the time. The same can be said for the team of the week - most of the time it is comprised of players that score regardless of how they play.

Mock ye not. Cherry Red Records are home to, among other things, the beautifully remastered and reissued Hawkwind back catalogue. For this reason alone I briefly adopted AFC Wimbledon as a second team. But they've moved out now, I think?

Don't forget Mr Winter's collective view of individual players is far smaller than yours as he hasn't had the privilege of seeing them as often as yourself. Hence he should be pitied and any road what he says ain't worth owt, any more than any one else.
