WunderbarBest football reporter going IMO seems to be going to quite a lot of our games recently. Very complimentary report see below. He almost got ‘ Egan’s going on a journey ‘ into the headline with his ‘passports ready ‘Enjoy

Basham was around 9 with Egan and JackHe only gave Basham a 7, I'll add him to the list of know nowt journalists.
Answering a question with a question, is that nineteen seventies or they are in their seventies?Carrier Bag firm in the seventies?
No age bar In the CBF.Carrier Bag firm in the seventies?
Regulars on the 'barking mad ' section on early Hootenany's .
Mock ye not. Cherry Red Records are home to, among other things, the beautifully remastered and reissued Hawkwind back catalogue. For this reason alone I briefly adopted AFC Wimbledon as a second team. But they've moved out now, I think?'Cherry Red Records Stadium'![]()
Only PL league goals matter/count to journalists. He did get a bit wrong though. His goal on Sunday at Burnley wasnt his first goal for us. He scored against Norwich last season.
The first United
That’s Sheffield United
Full marks for continued use of ‘United’.
More journo’s need to show this respect. Too many low marks like Neville patronise and annoyby thinking there is only the Salford version.
To me;
One United
The first United
That’s Sheffield United
well done Winter.
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand Blades
4,810 seems a big crowd now !'Cherry Red Records Stadium'![]()
Don't forget Mr Winter's collective view of individual players is far smaller than yours as he hasn't had the privilege of seeing them as often as yourself. Hence he should be pitied and any road what he says ain't worth owt, any more than any one else.I too rate Henry Winter and his report is a good reflection of the game but some of his ratings are debatable to say the least. Basham, Stevens and Baldock only 7s, less than Traore who I felt was marshalled very well (much better than in the game a Molineux) is mystifying.
I've always wondered if they just put a standard set of numbers down and give all goalscorers +1. It certainly feels like that most if the time. The same can be said for the team of the week - most of the time it is comprised of players that score regardless of how they play.
Not Premier League so it never happened. He did get a bit wrong though. His goal on Sunday at Burnley wasnt his first goal for us. He scored against Norwich last season.
