Just listened to Sander’s interview on the club website. As well as being a huge bloke with enormous talent he is highly intelligent, and at 22 he is more articulate in his second language than 95% of even the most senior British players.

If we can grow quickly enough to keep him he can become a real Lane legend, on and off the field. As a role model and example he can also attract similar young players to want to be a part of our journey.

Whilst I agree with all the comments about Berge I think it unfair to demean senior British players in that way. United as well as many other clubs have many intelligent and articulate senior players.

Has anybody got a link to the fans Q&A he did yesterday? I caught the last 10mins of it, but missed the beginning.

Thought he came across really well & it was very insightful.

Berge is quickly becoming a favourite of mine I haven’t had an individual favourite since Jan Aage, must be a Norwegian thing

Honestly, Sander might possibly be the most likeable player in the Premier League right now, from how he speaks & how absolutely delighted he looked after his goal against Spurs. The lad spent the next 60 minutes grinning from ear to ear!

Comes across as a really nice bloke, I don’t quite know how I can justify that from an interview and a few other snippets but it’s the impression he gives off, someone that you’d be happy for your daughter to bring home, not that I’ve got a daughter 😀

Quick, get one.

If all the vikings were his size , no wonder they had such a scary reputation , Sanders nature is to nice to be a viking tho , but i bet the opposition players that have to play against him think better not upset this guy , i think next season after a couple of months he will shine , Spurs fans already saying they wish they had gone for him !
Him and Osborn make a good pair , have we seen Fleck ,Sander and Osborn play all together yet ?

Rashford, Sterling, Mata, Mee
There are several examples at each club if you listen to the pre and post match interviews
You could throw in four from our team.
It’s not that we are looking for those more articulate than Berger, but just countering the original statement

I thought he sounded like he was a young Darth Vader.

He's a bright lad though. Comes over very well.

Jamie Carragher to name one.

Think you should be fine to watch it without needing to sign in.

Thanks, that works.

I've also discovered that if you click on a post on someone's feed it asks you to log in, but if you right click>open in new tab it doesn't. 🤷‍♂️
