It’s currently down to 6th that qualify but more than likely (depending on who wins the FA cup) that 7th will be good enough for Europe.
Wolves finished 7th last season and qualified due to Man City winning both cups.

and if Man City are banned (the UEFA appeal is heard next week) would that mean even 8th place could qualify for Europe?

Heres the results we need.. to get 6th. Wich this year should give us a spot.

can you believe the odds they've given us?

So you are basically saying wolves only pick up 7 points in 6 games and that's calculated on current form (won their last 3).

It might happen, but I agree on our odds.

What i dont agree with is the 9/2 on spuds.

The match predictions other than the blades were from The fishy.. using betting odds etc.. so yeah who knows..

Yeah we were going to mention this, but to keep it simple we stuck with top 6, what a chance eh? So who does discount flights ?

I want top 6 as its £160 from bet365 if the piggies go down as well. Not paying any cash out at the moment.

No sense getting irritated by bookies odds, they're as dispassionate as can be. If lots of people have bet on our rivals over us (which is understandable) then the odds shorten on them and lengthen on us. If you think we're significantly more likely than the odds say then lump money on it with a smile.

Last 3 were all bottom feeders.. next 6 are all top and mid table.. so yeah that is easy correct. Take a look yourself

Looking like 7 points might be a push after this eh

We should know after next two matches v Burnley and Wolves. If we get 6 points then maybe. Otherwise the odds are long imho. UTB!

A bit of context.....if this were our third season in the Prem I might want to consider our ambitions a bit differently, but for reasons that I think add up to do what we've done, with the limited resources we have, with the fact that the court case with McCabe has now been resolved, and with the thought that we have to go again next season as a fully fledged Premier Division club.....to me, we've achieved so much, unexpectedly I should add, but also deservedly.

To echo the opinion of most Blades, it's been a fucking brilliant season. We've learnt so much, and as seems to be the Blade's way, a few supposedly lesser lights have, when needed, stepped in and shone brilliantly. At the back of many minds is the question of 'who will become our permanent 'keeper?' Having managed to get Dean Henderson here on loan has been a big factor in our the way we've progressed, and it seems unlikely he'll remain at Bramall Lane. Dean will go with our love and best wishes. Let's hope that whoever takes his place manages to do well and complete what is an exceptional defence.

The point of this is that at the moment I don't want too many distractions that might derail our efforts to make us a fully paid up member of this Division. I know there are few certainties or guarantees, that life's unfair, that unless the management and players retain their appetite to do well that this will come collapsing down around our feet.....but currently we don't have a large enough squad, with enough quality players capable of stepping in should we get a plague of injuries, to take on board the exhaustive travelling and possible injuries and loss of form that is involved with what could be an addition to an already busy season.

Am I a pessimist? I prefer to look at this pragmatically. If our fortunes change, if somehow the club becomes what so many clubs. even at our level, are probably one or two steps from financial concern, then I hope we continue as we have these last 3-4 years. A combination of good husbandry, of boardroom uncertainty, and most importantly, of having a top management team that, upon reflection have navigated our way through a fantastic (almost) four seasons. From small acorns etc, but here we are and here I hope we'll remain. The only thing I know that offers anything in life is generally hard work. I'm proud of those who've brought us here, and I hope we'll be quick learners, that next season we'll continue what has become a successful journey. Don't imagine that I don't want us to be part of a European adventure, it's just that I feel there'd be more negatives than positives attached at the moment.

With success comes rewards, and for a Premier Division club, that means greater finances. Wages will need to increase, but I'd imagine that's being considered. I hope so as this stands at the very centre of Premier Division football. Players are human, they want to be rewarded, they'll speak to each other and compare wages and bonuses. We can't keep our heads in the sand about this, I hope the club are being creative and looking to find ways to increase the wage structure at this club.
Sorry for going over ground that's been covered elsewhere. I'm actually optimistic about our club, but it doesn't mean that I'm also blind to the realities of what it means to be part of this Division. UTMB!

I use Bet365 but can't seem to find an option for top 6 anywhere. No doubt me being thick, but does anyone else use them who can point me in the right direction?

Not an option currently.

We were 33/1 before Wolves game yesterday. Was tempted but missed it.

Was going to lump on if still same odds.

Top 4 odds only . We’re 250/1 but think I’ll give that one a miss 🤣
