Nah, all about opinions innit? I can think of loads of reasons why people may not get on with the content (though Deadbat negativity aside, hopefully there’s more reasons they’d like it), plus I seem to remember he’s against podcasts in general.

In fairness, both me and Andy from Tufty Club have never really listened to podcasts either... which a) exasperates DB every time he makes yet another reference to some stuff we’ve never heard, and b) makes it even weirder that Andy roped us into doing one in the first place.

Nothing personal at all. You are right, I'm not a big fan of social media in general. It's like showing somebody your holiday snaps, and they sit there smiling and nodding, but thinking to themselves ..........ffs, does this guy think I've never been on holiday. Hey mate some news for you, we've all had photos on the beach, drinking by the pool etc.

I don't mind podcasts like 'under the cosh' for example, because that is real ex footballers doing real football stuff, with real players. Fans forums are fine because we are just an anonymous community passing the time of day on a level footing - ie we are all participants to read and post.

But fans podcasts, I've put this analogy before ..... it'd be like me and my mates pulling up an extra chair or two to our table and inviting anybody in the pub to come sit with us and listen to us spouting our normal inane bollox lol. Hey you can't contribute, just listen. We love putting on a show. Now if I really did do this and announced it over the pub tannoy, people in the pub would think I was mad. And if anybody actually took up my offer I would think they were mad!

After all's said and done though mate, you seem like a sound guy. However, give me a tap in with your sentence.... As for the tap-in, I’m glad you Billy Sharped my cross; people take themselves too seriously these days. All about the self-deprecation.

Now vlogs don't even get me started on them lol.

How do they generally go...................................

1. Meet up with mates etc first thing in morning before an away game ............................... reality check - yep 2990 other Blades do the same.

2. Take the piss out of each other incessantly .................................................................................... ditto

3. Get pissed and lark about a bit ............................................................................................................ ditto

4. Sing our hearts out and go mental when we score .................................................................... ditto

5. Depending on result, celebrate or console ourselves with a few more beers .................. ditto

The difference is 2990 other Blades don't feel the need to share their experience with anyone outside of the group that they are having a fantastic time with! Bit of poetic license there, maybe not 2990, there might be the odd nipper or old lady who doesn't fit the mould, but ... well you know what I mean I'm sure.

I blame reality tv ..... seems like everybody wants to be a celeb these days!
