Because that shower of shit that has took to the pitch since returning after lockdown is not the team I love and remember from this season.

I can't explain it, that's Wilders job but I have never seen us make so many team and individual errors, never seen such lethargy from us, such a lack of drive, passion and team ethic.

They look like a broken team right now and they aren't playing for each other, why?

They look knackered. No zip in their play. Passes going straight to the opposition. No link up play from the defence to the midfield and strikers. Huge gaps between our players. Goalkeepers kicking the ball straight to the opposition and inviting pressure straight back on. Lack of players tracking their man and not getting in their faces. Total lack of movement in and around the opposition penalty area. Lack of confidence to take men on. Lack of confidence to take shots in and around the area.... An average of 1 shot on target per game.

Apart from that were ok I think?

I hope it's not my prediction of the unprecedented break causing the momentum since Wilder has arrived to come to a stop.
If so, no need to panic, but summer recruitment is key to get that momentum back.

There has to be 2 players coming in this summer that improve the first 11.
Not players for depth, ones that improve the foundations Wilder has built.

Think that's the problem. I can't really see us banging 40 million down again for two other players, though I will say I never expected us paying 60 million in a window.

I don't know the finances of the club, but you surely must be looking to spend this at least?

What I mean by that, is surely those kind of finances are available given the income from the league and the low wage budget?

Our cheaper signings somehow end up being our better ones. Not sure we have to blow money away but just be very shrewd in our recruitment.

Very true, though I think I'd rather see money being invested in a top striker. Watkins maybe, but think he was quoted at around 20 million.

They look completely shell shocked, a yard off the pace and like they have completely forgotten how our system works.

Over the 3 games, the only ones who have looked anything like their former selves are Bash and Baldock.

As for Steven's....fuuucking hell!?!
I swear that my favourite player has been cloned.

Basham has been the light in all this. He and Hendo the only two players along with possibly Didsy that look like the lockdown hasn't effected them at all.

Think Lundstram has looked good on the right in all the games. On the left against Villa, not so much, but when he went over to the other side we were much better. When he came on against Newcastle he looked composed and was about our only player who could pass, and tonight, we didn't have the ball a lot and he tired, but I thought he had a few moments.

Lunny has looked nothing like as good and as he usually has. Although neither have the rest of the midfield.

You know full well what I mean and I don't need a maths lesson thanks.
That last part wasn't aimed solely at you, but that United team of just 48 months ago was a damn sight more lethargic and devoid of drive and passion than this one. By about a million percent.

Do you really think my point was about that side or any other Blades side since we were formed?

Apologies if I'm wrong, but I assumed when you spoke about 'us' that was referring to Sheffield United?

The Government has announced that from 4th July Sheffield United players will be permitted to visit other teams penalty areas for short periods as they pose no threat to their opponents.
