Yeah it's been brilliant. Play like that and we won't win another game. Good job we have the points otherwise.... In fact wouldn't this be the most Sheffield United thing ever!

Snowflakes everywhere 😂

But it was poor today, 3 or 4 awful individual performances. And team needs a shake up.

Striking pair doesn’t work - must be Mousset and Oli. Robinson isn’t the answer, would rather have Stevens at left centre half and Osborne at LWB. Lundstram needs to play instead of Berge.

Stick this squad of players in the hands of any other manager and we'd be mid table Championship at best.

Coronavirus has shafted us as we have a small squad which was playing out of it's skin.

Stick with the positives!

We're safe and still in the cup. Both of which everyone would have taken at the start of the season

.. in a lot of new poster's vaginas this afternoon. Did they not get issued with a pair of S24SU sand-proof knickers on their way over from S6..? 🙄
Surely this post is worth an infraction warning.

If you say so. There's a 'Report' button somewhere.
By the way you were not part of a group of supposed Blades fans at Wembley when we played Huddersfield going round having ago a blades fans with the great song “ I bet you weren’t at the Lane on Tuesday night” then scowling at everyone.
I can remember thinking WTF. Why would you want to spoil a day like that.
Your thread reminds me that occasion.

No mate, I wasn't there. I'd gone to Meadowhall shopping...

To be honest, it's sounds like you're the one who's spent a Sunday at the seaside. Don't worry everyone deals with grief in different ways, it's understandable

Hopefully we might see something for Old Trafford - I wouldn't hold my breath on any changes though - there's something belligerent with CW at times.

What about Berge and Norwood swapping. See if Norwood can play more attacking.

Robinson has done nothing wrong defensively. Stevens was directly at fault for the goal that started it all today, hardly a case for putting him CB?
I agree 100% on the strike pair though, McBurnie and Mousset.

Stevens is a huge player for us and I’ll forgive him one poor game. We’ve offered nothing at all going forward down the left so far in the first two games and I think that allows teams to shut us down far too easily. I think Stevens has acquitted himself well at LCB in the past and has reasonable athleticism and mobility to get around the pitch. Osborn has done well at LWB for me as well. I’m all for square pegs in square holes, but I think the pair of Stevens and Osborn gives us more pace and mobility whilst not damaging us defensively. It’s not that I think Robinson has defended badly, although I worry about his lack of pace alongside potentially Jagielka against Man Utd, it’s more that the Stevens / Osborn combination above will give us more overall going forward and defensively.

Fair points, but i don't think Man Utd at Old Trafford is the place to put a LWB at LCB when the LCB has defended well, perhaps more an option to be considered for the Arsenal game next week. I personally think Robinson showed good pace and athleticism against Villa, but he looks petrified to carry the ball down the left like O'Connell.
