Please enlighten me.

Gladly,

You’ve picked out 2 players, purely on how much their transfer fee was.

Berge has not played in his natural position once and McBurnie has not had anything like the service required to be a goal scoring threat. They are in no way at fault for this diabolical performance.

I notice you haven’t picked Norwood up on being at fault for 2 goals and generally been absolute shite. Our defence other than Basham has been utterly fucking useless.

Robinson was shambolic today.

To be honest I zoned out after the first went in so he could've been appalling today overall but hardly the loose thread that unravelled everything. Even if we had Prime JOC today with the rest of the team playing like they'd drank a gallon of vodka before the game we'd have been no better.

If Enda Stevens has ever played worse than that in his professional career I'd be very surprised.

There's a context to this, and this is me trying to be kind:
  1. The loss of best laid plans and all that, just prior to Villa. A usually settled side trying to regroup.
  2. The red card, sent things to shit.
Those factors go some way towards explaining the performance but don't fully account for the level quality on show there. Individual errors and sloppiness all over the place. The usually ever reliable, just were not.

Perfect timing to be going to Old Trafford.

Yes your right. Norwood was crap as well.

Honestly can’t understand as soon as we had Egan sent off, jags, moose & Lunny on, change the spine, we were shite all over the pitch, gifted a very poor team a 3-0 win, I think our squad is seriously unfit/injured to not swap those players in straight away, we are allowed 5 changes so could have done that and still had two changes allowed
Need to sort out our shit quickly Wednesday is coming round fast, champions league to far now but still FA cup and Europe still a realistic chance but my god we need to address our passing!

We actually looked quite good for the first 10-15 minutes as well, but the passing was just a bit loose, but it stayed loose all over the pitch in really dangerous areas.

Once Newcastle realised we were passing it like a pub team, we didn’t stand a chance really.

They couldn't put six past anyone, seriously.

Very easily they could on Wednesday I fear
They put 4 past Newcastle who we barely managed a shot on target against!

It's the pace that undid us, all over the pitch we were left wanting, we really look lightweight, it does worry me for next season.

We’ve always had a tendency to pass it about in midfield with no urgency. I wonder if the lack of an impatient crowd is somehow not triggering our players to get on with it. But if you have 15 passes around the back, and then your 16th pass is to the opposition’s striker, you’ve no chance.

Anyone who bought a ticket should get a refund for that performance....🙄

Wtf? Just seen the result..
Thing is, you're probably learning more from games like this, than 1-0 wins.

A huge wake up call for the players and staff.

Some players have let the media hype goto their heads.

You've achieved nothing yet.

I reckon there will be a big reaction against Man Utd.

Back to basics.

If not then we will get battered.
