Decent article, and I'd certainly take the prediction right now. It also highlights how in the summer we need to look at the top of the pitch, so while there is talk that budget maybe reduce, I'd again say we need to look at the one off opportunity of a depressed Championship market and be looking at the likes of Watkins and Eze to sure up our campaign next year.

When I read this online around 5am, it said Robert Fleck FFS. Think Paul Doyle might have been alerted to this error!

Remember when we got promoted from league 1 & one of our 'fans' rang up 5 Live to talk about it, referring to John Fleck as Robert Fleck. Very strange.

To be fair, that could just be age. My Dad occasionally says Robert before correcting himself and I know he's legit.

The stat regarding shots on goal is misleading - it would be more revealing to see the xG as we all know, Wilder is not a fan of players attempting hopeful potshots from outside the area. We always try to create good chances, rather than wasting possession on speculative ones.

7th as well... pfft!

"Sheffield United being the Premier League’s best example of the power of a perfectly calibrated and populated system, it is difficult to identify one player who is more important than the others. Henderson obviously performs a unique role but plenty of others also have critical specialities. "
Most accurate description of United ever, this guy gets it.

Very, very true. Guy at work asked who our single most important player was. I pretty much listed all of the back 6 plus Norwood and Fleck.

Read an interview from Ben Osborn yesterday, he was on about the "back 8" being so good and having great continuity and I think that's spot on.

Lundstram is hard done by in that description, what with being joint top scorer, but he has come out of the team a few times. That back 8 is the most important thing.

Yep. I'd like to think this is what people mean when they call us 'organised' or 'hard-working', it's just that this guy has a more apt description since he's actually a decent journalist.

Lunny's only got 4 goals hasn't he? Pretty sure Robert Fleck and Lee Mousset are joint top scorers.
