I’m not sure how this is even being proposed as a possibility?

How are managers supposed to discuss tactical changes or plans for exploiting opposition weaknesses?

I suppose they will just end up with bland chit-chat while the cameras are intruding and then down to the “real” team talk as soon as they’ve buggered off?

If they are hoping for a Warnock style half time rant then they may not get it from Wilder.

A bit cheeky of the broadcasters to make demands like this. The season is finally being completed and all the matches they were due to show will get played plus they are getting more matches to broadcast.

Absolutely zero chance of this happening, not with Wilder in charge. He'll happily tell a cameraman to fuck off a bit on the pitch after a game, nevermind in the dressing room while he's trying to work.

Wasnt this proposed before and got canned as it was pointless ?

The EPL need to grow some balls and tell the broadcasters to do one. For a supposed high profile organisation they show little in the way of Leadership. Years of having snivelling Scudamore in charge and Piggy Richards around has caused them to lose sight of what they are supposed to be about. Thats the management of supposedly the best football league in the world not letting Television companies dictate to them.

It should be the other way around or were they so incompetent and only interested in the ££ signs that they signed up to Television deals where they didn't read the small print. Agree to this and the soul of English Football is lost and Socker takes over. Look forward to 4 breaks in games for adverts and games lasting over 2 hours. FFS is nothing sacrosanct!!

Such a shit idea though, when TV broadcast is affecting the sport it's broadcasting something has gone tits up.

From my atmittedly limited viewing of American football, it's seems that everyone knows the plays and it's more of a case of choosing on the pitch and sidelines, and execution, and at half-time you'll get a motivational speech and some pointers, but football, they'd just have someone watching it from the opposition and telling the manager what's up Wilder's sleeve for the second half, what subs are coming on etc.

It’ll be way out of his hands if it happens...

They don't do it in the States (NFL) , not before or during HT .... after yes, but not straight after

Usually to present a Gameball, usually to someone who has performed well

Surely HT is the time for Pundits to perform ....

TV companies have the clubs by the short and curlies right now. The clubs will be fluttering their eyelashes and trying to keep as much TV money as possible.

Sky are gonna get their games this Season .......... Contract fulfilled

Just wear a Mike Bassett comedy mask and shout four four fucking two

The concept of the half time team talk and knowing but not knowing what is said is part of the beauty of football. Fuck off with shite like this.

Don’t matter we’re the cameras go at halftime, we’ll have all shot off for a p**s and a pint . Some 10 minutes before.
