Neutral venue for Man U game

Surely they will just use Wembley or another premier league teams ground (Man U vs Man City at Goodison for example)

Think they'll go further afield than that, North East and Us at Southampton or Norwich, any London teams up at St James or the Lane, if it's to discourage crowds.

As it happens, home wins have been way down in the Bundesliga since the restart, so Man Utd might actually look at it as an advantage to not play at home

I can for important games, as a population through this pandemic it's become clear that certain people just don't give a toss and think they're being oppressed by lockdown for the sake of a bad cold.

These are the people that will gather with crates of Stella outside football grounds, especially if something's up for grabs, and once they're there you can't shift them, like after Stoke. Imagine things go well and we go into say, the Chelsea game and a win guarantees Europa League. I think there's be hundreds if not thousands. The more wishy washy Boris's lockdown message becomes the more likely it gets too, looking out of my window the day after he announced unlimited exercise you'd have thought everyone had been vaccinated against it.

I personally wouldn`t do it even in fine weather but agree a lot would if there was something riding on the outcome. I really hope that people don`t do it, it may result on football being suspended again.

Also rival fans have to go a bit farther to be naughty. Hypothetical, a dominant red team in a city, could have say, a down on their luck blue team in their city. Some of the blue team fans might choose to wear red and go and visit a better stadium when a match is on.

There should be a simple message a week before the start, that if the FA receive Police footage of widespread public disorder or gatherings to watch the games, then a points deduction could be imposed.

I still think the big talking points on that first weekend will be house parties/big BBQ’s rather than hundreds/thousands stood outside a ground.

Me neither. Those that are bothered will want to watch it on tv. Presuming pubs will either be shut or not allowed to show games it = everyone who isn’t slightly mental staying at home.
