Weren't we interested in signing him around 2008/09 time? Also may have been a few years later in our early days of L1 as well?

I remember a bit of hype about him being a prospect but he remained with Chessie for the rest of his career so looks like his potential wasn't fully fulfilled. Probably would've been a decent keeper at L1 level which may explain why we might have been looking at him, surely he'd have been better than Simmo was. Even though I'd guess his transfer fee wouldn't have been too high funds were very tight for us back then.

Found this on his Wiki: In September 2008, Lee was attacked during a night out in Sheffield and required surgery after his jaw was broken. After returning to action, Lee became a fan favourite at Saltergate.

If he has switched to us then I hope his goalkeeping coaching skills isn't the reason for Dawson's countless calamitous and hilarious performances for the Pigs this season!
