Have you just made that up? ...the latest figures direct from the Italian government is that currently 1,153 are currently critically ill.
It also shows that 1,016 have died in Italy so far and the average age of the deceased is 81, apparently Italy has the oldest population in Europe.

Also not one of the 10 people that have died in the UK wasn’t already vulnerable with prior health problems.

Why will it be off? Just test the rest of the squad/staff? Just because Arteta has it doesn't mean the game cannot be played. If half the first team have it fair enough.

One of the problems in Italy was testing too early and it giving false positives/negatives, which is why anyone that's come into contact with someone else with it really needs to be in isolation for the 14 days stated. I'm guessing all the first team have been on close contact with him.

I am stunned the premier league has been so slow on the uptake but I think now we will see action being taken.

Season is over. This is just the start. All teams will have positive cases and won’t be able to fulfil fixtures. How do we delay the season? Players will be out of contract. What happens to the transfer window, what happens to next season? Some things are more important than football.

In fairness, I wouldn’t read too much into that – if there was one health minister that I’d have put money on not treating the expert advice seriously enough to reduce their own risk, it would have been Nadine Dorries.

You quote was 1000’s of healthy Italians in their 40’s are on the critical list. That’s not the situation.

Think you need to do some research....the average age of the dead in Italy currently stands at 81 years of age with the vast majority already in poor health before the virus. Its a type of flu but more contagious with no anti-virus for a year or so. So many millions are likely to catch this flu but almost everyone will be fine.
However anyone over 70 in poor health will be at risk. Not sure what the answer is.
