Odd, a while back there were many sites on the internet where you could find the table of what each position would earn at the end of the season, they all seem to have disappeared (historical ones are still up).

This has some interesting info on it about Prem League club revenues
Kit sponsorship particularly varies greatly from the £75million Man Utd get to our £750k/season, even 'moneybags' Norwich get £2.5m/season.

Its the global profile that increases also. More interest from abroad more interest in our sponsors being able to market goods in a larger market etc.

The thing I am looking too forward the most is the progress of the pitch. Look at the state of them down at S6. We have an opportunity to go 20 years ahead of them. The new training ground /
Improvements to the ground building a proper infrastructure.

The increased reach of qualifying for Europe will be great for us.

Don't we get more than £750k a season now? I'm sure when the current deal was announced it was something like £5m.

Well it’s 10 potentially huge games for us looking at those figures.
Could literally be the difference of around £40m if we can get into a European spot.

I have no idea what the summer budget was likely to have been, but an extra £40m would be useful whether used on players or just speeding up club infrastructure and development.
Might even make a cup final yet! But 5th place is up for grabs and we have games at home which could have a huge bearing...Wolves, Spurs, Chelsea and Everton spring to mind!

What a season we could have, hope we make one of the cup final or Europe to reward the players and manager for their efforts. Be a shame to finish with nothing when we’ve had such a strong season

What is the lowest position that will qualify for the Europa league - presuming one of the current top 4 win the cup competitions?

Max number of teams that will can qualify for Europe in any one season is 7, so assuming Man City’s ban is upheld, it will be 8th.

Currently 8th, assuming Man City finish higher than that.

1-5 (less Man City) = Champions League
6-7 Europa League
FA Cup winner = Europa League unless a side in the top 7 wins the FA cup (Leicester, Man City, United, Man U & Chelsea at the moment) in which case the third and final Europa League spot reverts to 8th in the PL

Unless Spurs win this season's CL in which case it'll be 1-4 less City plus Spurs
5-7 Europa League (if Spurs finish top 7 then 8th will get into the EL)

Would 8th be a qualification place or straight into group stages?

You also get 496K per match won and about 176K per match drawn in the EL

This is due to the demand for socks with space for 6 toes in

We are 20 years in front of them, they can't get in this division, and as things could pan out this season it will be at least another 2, at the very best

The four English qualifiers to the Champions League go straight to the group stage but to highlight the difference between the two competitions here's the Champions League vs Europa League prize money this season:
Prize moneyCLEL
Second qualification stagen/a€260k
Third qualification stage winn/a€280k
Qualification stage eliminationn/a€300k
Group stage participation €15,250k €2,920k
Group stage victory €2,700k €570k
Group stage draw €900k €190k
Group stage winner/runner upn/a€1,000k & €500k
Round of 32n/a€500k
Round of 16€9,500k€1,100k
Quarter final€10,500k €1,500k
Semi final€12,000k €2,400k
Runner up€15,000k €4,500k
Winner€19,000k €8,500k

Finishing in the top 4(/5, depending on City) would guarantee United an additional €15.25m next season before the TV and other commercial income. It's mental.

Yes but I mean in terms of CW is building a legacy there’s a rumoured new training ground coming (from premier league money) this will enhance our academy allowing us to pick the best locks taken the stadium is improving becoming more modern and will be a continual thing.

Football wise alone they are lightyears behind and everyone says it goes in cycles etc but our planning now is establishing that this isn’t a cycle and that there is one team in Sheffield.

This 20 years ahead of them is nonsense they would say. We are a promotion and a survival ahead of them. Until we get get even better facilities we are only TV money ahead of them.

Great these figures, we can go and buy Hendo give manure a buy back clause happy days.
