Lots calling for Mousset to start, but he’s not fit enough. Unless he’s allowed to amble about when not directly involved, which is unlikely. Last half hour for me.

Why not start him, see how long he can last and bring Ziv on if we’re winning for the remainder of the match? If we’re not winning then it’ll can be Billy or Ollie.

I know folk want to see a full strength side... But this could be the future (apart from Enda and Egan) would be another boost to the club if Retsos plays a blinder and Zivkovic bags a goal!

You see Besic as the future despite him only being on loan and not making the bench since Sander joined?

Was refering to Retsos, Zivkovic and Berge (in the CM role) as they were the lads brought in. But yes I rate Besic, although I'm not confident he'll be with us next season now.
It'll be interesting to see what develops in the summer. I'm sure there will be some contrasting opinions on who we want to see come and go.

I hope I'm proven wrong but in the limited viewings from YouTube I had seen, Zickovic looked a little 'speedboat with no rudder'.

I didn't see many sublime finishes. And the standard he has been playing at has been varied. If he gets much more than the occasional 15 minutes at the back end of games I'd be surprised.

We already have a decent stable of strikers for our first season back in Sharp, McBurnie, Mousset and McGoldrick.

I see this one as just insurance so we have enough bodies if we got a raft of injuries and to allow Robbo to go on loan and get game time without weakening the squad in terms of numbers.

It seems very few have heard Wilders comment on team selection for this game.They are also ignoring our previous performances following a break. First teamers are not match sharp after previous breaks. Let them shake the rust off in the Reading game, play crap, and still win.
They will all need to be 100% focused on the Norwich game.

I watched the full pre match interview and tbh I thought Wilder gave nothing away as usual.

Could be the full 1st XI
The new lads will be involved in some way.
It'll be 3/4 changes like at Millwall.
I won't pick anyone just to see them play. If we want to activate their deals in the summer we will.

I'm still non the wiser!... Looking forward to it though... Not long now!

Given Besic being completely away from all the team and staff at both airports en route/at Dubai I’d say there’s no chance he’ll be here next season. Don’t expect him to feature again unfortunately.

Is Besic still at the Lane? I don't think he was even on the bench against Brighton.

He scored against Millwall, played against City, and hasn't featured in a squad since. He must be a bit disappointed.
